사람들의 하나님에 대한 관계성은 자녀의 아버지에 대한 관계성.

사람들의 하나님에 대한 관계성은 자녀의 아버지에 대한 관계성과 같아야 한다. 그러면 어린아이다운 사랑이 아버지가 원하는 일을 행하는 원동력이 되고, 그럴 때 아버지는 대부분의 아버지가 그러하듯 자기 자녀를 돕는다. 자녀는 가장 깊은 신뢰를 가지고 아버지께 나가, 자신이 도움 받게 되리라는 굳은 확신가운데, 자신의 어려움을 아뢰야 한다.

왜냐하면 좋은 아버지는 곤경과 처량함 가운데 있는 자녀를 그냥 두지 않고, 항상 도울 준비가 되어 있기 때문이다. 이런 하나님과 깊은 관계는 사랑이 넘치는 존재에 대한 믿음과 인간으로부터 모든 악들을 물리치는 일이 하나님의 권세에 달려 있다는 믿음을 전제로 한다. 하나님은 이런 믿음으로 드려진 기도에 응답하면서, 이런 믿음을 축복한다.

자녀의 아버지를 향한 사랑이 더 깊어질수록, 아버지는 더욱 충만한 사랑으로 자녀를 돌본다. 이런 자녀는 이제 자신이 동인이 되어, 자유의지로, 원래의 관계를 이룬다. 그는 자신을 창조한 근원의 영과 격리됐던 것을 다시 연결시킴으로, 하나님의 은혜로 그가 이 땅을 떠날 때, 하나님과 연합이 될수 있는 상태로 자신을 만들어, 이 땅의 삶의 목적을 이룬다. 이일은 단지 아버지의 사랑으로 이 땅의 사람들을 사랑하는 한 권세를 의식적으로 인정하고, 그에게 자발적 순종함으로 가능하다. 자녀와 아버지의 관계는 회복돼야만 한다. 왜냐하면 자녀와 아버지의 관계가 하나님으로부터 생성된 존재가 자유하고, 상상할 수 없게 행복했던 원래의 관계이기 때문이다.

Relationship of man to God as of child to father....

The relationship between man and God should be the same as the relationship between a child and its father. Then the child's love is the driving force to do what the father asks, and then the father can also consider his child as a loving father does. The child should come to the father in the most faithful trust and present his needs to him in the firm confidence that he will be helped, because a good father does not leave his child in need and misery and is always ready to help. This intimate relationship with God presupposes faith in a loving being, in Whose power it lies to avert all evil from man, and God blesses such faith by not leaving unfulfilled the prayer that is sent to Him in such faith. The more heartfelt the child's devotion to His father is, the more lovingly the father will take care of the child, for the human being has now established the original relationship of his own accord, of his own free will; he has fulfilled the purpose of earthly life by bridging the separation from God, as the original spirit from which he emerged, and by God's grace he has placed himself into a state which will result in his union with God as soon as he leaves earthly life. And this can only be achieved by consciously recognizing and voluntarily submitting to a power Which inclines Itself towards earthly people in fatherly love. The relationship between child and father must be established because this was the original relationship in which the being that emerged from God was free and unimaginably happy....
