하나님의 영은 자신이 원하는 곳으로 향한다. 이 말씀을 다시, 하나님의 뜻을 인간 안의 영이 역사하기 위한 전제 조건으로 만들면서, 쉽게 오해할 수 있다. 이런 관점은 쉽게 하나님으로부터 지혜를 받는 것을 결정하는 것이 사람이 아니라, 하나님이라고 받아드리게 할 수 있다.

하나님의 뜻은 존재하는 것과 일어나는 모든 일의 기초이다. 그러므로 하나님의 영이 영적인 진리를 가르치고 전달하기 위해 사람 안의 영의 불씨와 연결이 된다면, 하나님의 뜻이 동의해야만 한다. 그러므로 영이 사람 안에서 자신을 표현할 때, 하나님의 뜻이 실제 첫째의 전제 조건이 될 것이다. 그러나 자신의 뜻이 없는 사람에게, 단지 영적인 활동을 통해서만 성취할 수 있는 과제를 수행하게 만드는 일은 하나님의 뜻이 아니다.

영의 역사는 강제된 상태에서는 절대로 성취될 수 없다. 영의 역사는 유일하게 사람에게 달려 있고, 영의 역사는 매우 높은 수준의 성장정도를 요구한다. 그가 먼저 자신을 고귀하게 만드는 일을 이뤄야만 한다. 그러나 이런 일이 다시 인간의 의지에 의해 추구되어야만 한다. 하나님은 이 일에 자신의 힘과 자신의 축복을 해준다.

영의 역사는 하나님을 향한 인간의 태도에 달려 있다. 하나님의 뜻에 완전히 반대되는 의지를 통해 그의 은혜로운 인도를 거스르는 사람은 자신 안의 영이 주는 효과를 절대로 느끼지 못하게 될 것이다. 그러므로 하나님을 향한 갈망이 항상 존재해야만 한다. 인간은 영원한 신성을 인정하는 자세를 가져야만 한다. 그러면 하나님의 영이 그 안에서 역사할 수 있게 된다.

그러면 하나님은 다시 자신의 영을 통해 그에게 계시하는 일을 행할 준비가 된 사람을 택한다. 그는 도구로 적합한 사람들을 택한다. 왜냐면 그들이 직분을 수행해야 하기 때문이다. 인간이 받은 것을 다시 전파하는 일에 인간의 의지가 결정적인 역활을 한다. 그러면 하나님으로부터 온 영이 자신을 표현하고, 영은 이런 사람들을 통해 모든 사람에게 말하기를 원한다. 하나님의 말씀을 받는 사람은 하나님의 말씀을 사람들에게 전하는 말하는 기관이다. 그러나 모든 사람이 자신의 과제를 파악하고, 하늘의 소중한 선물을 이웃 사람들에게 전해주는 일을 수행하는 것은 아니다. 하나님은 사람들의 의지를 알고 있다.

하나님으로부터 온 영이 하나님을 긴밀하게 바라는 모든 사람에게 부어진다. 이 영은 그의 생각을 올바르게 인도할 것이다. 그러나 그가 분명하게 인류의 구원과 축복을 위해 일하는 곳에서, 사람들이 하나님으로부터 온 영이 자원하는 이 땅의 자녀에게 임한다는 것을 분명히 깨달아야 하는 곳에서, 하나님 자신이 하나님의 영을 전할 사람을 택한다. 하나님이 신적인 내용을 주기에 합당하게 여기는, 그의 뜻을 하나님의 뜻에 복종시킨 사람에게, 신적인 내용을 전해준다. 모든 사람이 자신의 은사를 받기에 합당하도록 자신을 형성하는 일이 실제 하나님의 뜻이다. 그러나 인간의 의지가 자주 자신의 길을 간다. 이런 사람은 하나님의 도구로써 적합하지 않다. 그러나 모든 사람의 심장을 아는 하나님은 자원하여 자신을 섬기려는 사람을 찾으면, 자신을 계시한다. 다시 말해 하나님의 영은 원하는 곳으로 향한다._>아멘

The spirit of God blows where he wills....

The spirit of God blows where he wills.... These words are again easy to misunderstand, in that the divine will is made a prerequisite for the working of the spirit in man and this can easily lead to the assumption that it is not man but God who determines the reception of wisdom from God. The will of God underlies everything that is and everything that happens. Thus the divine will must also give its consent when the spirit from God unites with the spiritual spark in man for the purpose of teaching and imparting spiritual truths. Hence God's will will certainly be the first prerequisite if the spirit expresses itself in the human being.... but it is not within divine will to cause a person to carry out a task without his will which can only be fulfilled through spiritual activity.... Spiritual activity can never ever be achieved in a state of compulsion, spiritual activity is solely dependent on the human being and spiritual activity requires an exceptionally high degree of maturity.... It must have been preceded by self-refinement, but this in turn is striven for by the human being's will and God gives His strength and blessing for it.... The working of the spirit depends on the person's attitude towards God.... Those who resist Him, who work against His merciful guidance through a will that is completely opposed to the divine will, will never feel the working of the spirit within themselves. Thus the desire for God must always be present, the human being must affirmatively attune himself to the eternal deity, then the spirit of God can also become effective in him.... And then again God chooses the people who are willing to do what He reveals to them through His spirit.... He chooses those who are suitable as instruments, for they are to fulfil an office. And again the will of man is decisive to spread what he has received. For if the spirit expresses itself from God, then He wants to speak to all people through those people. The recipient of the divine word is the organ of speech of the one Who gives His word to man. However, not everyone realizes his task and carries it out by passing on the precious gift from heaven to his fellow human beings. And God knows the will of man. The spirit from God certainly pours out over everyone who desires Him sincerely and it will guide his thinking correctly, yet where it obviously works for the salvation and blessing of humanity.... where people should clearly recognize that the spirit from God descends upon a willing earthly child, there God chooses the bearers of the divine spirit Himself. He allows divine content to flow to those whom He deems worthy of receiving it and who have submitted their will to His will of their own accord. It is certainly God's will that all people should shape themselves in such a way that they are worthy of His gift, yet people's will often goes its own way and these are not suitable as God's instrument. But God, Who knows the hearts of all, will make Himself known where He finds the willingness to serve Him and thus the spirit of God will blow where God wants it....
