특별한 요구사항. 환란과 새로운 시대.

삶은 모든 방식으로, 모든 것을 바치기를 요구한다. 사람이 심각하다고 할 수 있는 이 시대의 모든 요구를 충족시키려면, 그에게 극도로 부담이 되는 세상의 요구를 받게 될 것이다. 그러나 사람이 또한 이 땅에 자신이 육신을 입는 목적에 합당하게 되려면, 마찬가지로 사람은 자신의 모든 힘을 드려야 한다.

이제 한쪽이나 다른 쪽이 피해를 입어야만 한다는 것을 이해하기가 쉽다. 유일하게 세상적인 것에 관심을 갖는 곳에서, 인간은 완전 세상적인 방향에 자신을 드린다. 왜냐면 완전히 반대되는 두 방향이 완전히 반대되는 자세를 요구하기 때문이다.

단지 영적인 추구를 하는 사람이 어떤 균형을 이룰 수 있게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 이런 노력이 동시에 그에게 이 땅의 과제를 완수할 힘을 줄 것이기 때문이다. 반면에 단지 세상의 요구를 충족시키려고 노력하는 세상적인 생각을 가진 사람은 과제를 감당할 수 없게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 세상의 요구가 그의 힘을 초과하는 요구를 할 것이고, 새로운 시대는 엄청난 변화를 가져올 것이기 때문이다.

인간에게 그의 힘을 넘어서는 어떤 일이 요구하게 될 것이다. 그는 이에 대항할 수 없게 될 것이다. 그가 자신을 돌아보고, 모든 것을 다스리는 분에게 이 땅의 짐을 넘기지 않으면, 그는 결국 패배하게 될 것이다. 인간이 단지 이 땅의 삶만을 살지 않고, 이 땅의 복지와 이 땅의 의무를 이행하는 일보다, 훨씬 더 중요한 실제 이 땅의 과제를 의식하게 된다면, 그가 이런 어려운 시기에도 쉬운 삶을 살 수 있는 가능성이 있다.

세상은 점점 더 위협적으로 사람들에게 다가 가고 있다. 세상은 세상의 지분을 요구하고, 여기에 기꺼이 굴복하지 않는 사람들에게 민감한 피해를 입힌다. 이런 일은 사람들에게 엄청난 부담을 주거나, 끊임없는 위협을 의미한다. 그러나 부담과 위협이 영적 과제에 주의를 기울이지 못하게 하는, 따라서 이 땅의 삶에 어떤 성장도 하지 못하고, 존재의 더 높은 성장에서 한 걸음 뒤로 물러나게 하는 결과를 가져온다.

그러나 사람이 이 땅의 삶을 더 이상 가장 중요한 것으로 여기지 않고, 유일한 중요한 일인 혼의 성장에 그의 주의를 집중한다면, 이 땅의 삶을 더 쉽게 만드는 일은 인간 자신에게 달려 있게 된다. 그 순간부터 이 땅의 삶이 그의 규칙적인 과정을 따라 이뤄지게 된다. 왜냐하면 사람이 자신의 행복에 반대되는 것으로 느끼는 것조차도 더 높은 성장을 위해 필요한 일로, 다시 말해, 다르게 보일지라도, 옳고 좋은 일로 느끼기 때문이다.

따라서 비록 이 땅의 요구 사항이 매우 달성하기 어려워 보일 수 있지만, 사람이 먼저 혼의 성장에 주의를 기울인다면, 가장 큰 어려움도 쉽게 극복할 수 있도록 도와주는, 모든 영적인, 세장적인 위험 가운데 자기에게 진심으로 기도하는 사람에게 도움주는 일을 절대로 거부하지 않는 하느님과의 연결을 이루고, 유지하다면, 인간은 가장 큰 어려움을 극복하게 될 것이다._>아멘

Exceptional requirements.... burdens, new time....

Life demands total commitment, and this in every way. Earthly demands are made which place an immense burden on the human being if he wants to fulfil all requirements at a time which can be called critical. Spiritually, however, the human being should likewise muster all his strength in order to fulfil the purpose of his embodiment on earth. It is now easily understandable that one or the other must suffer damage.... that where only the earthly is respected, the human being spends himself completely in this direction, especially since two completely opposite directions also require completely opposite attitudes. Only the spiritually striving person will be able to establish a certain balance, for this striving will also simultaneously provide him with the strength to fulfil the earthly task. Whereas the earthly-minded person, who only endeavours to comply with the demands of the world, will not be able to cope with this either, for in the end these demands will exceed his strength because the new age will bring a tremendous change. Something will be demanded of the human being which is beyond his strength and he will not be able to defend himself against it and will ultimately succumb if he does not come to his senses and hand over the earthly burdens to the one Who is lord of all.... Even in these difficult times the human being has the opportunity to lead an easier life if he does not exclusively live an earthly life but first becomes aware of his actual earthly task, which is far more important than an earthly life of well-being and the fulfilment of earthly duties. The world approaches man more and more threateningly, it demands its tribute and hits him hard who does not willingly bow to its demands. And for the human being this means either an extraordinary burden on the earthly side or a constant threat. Both, however, result in the spiritual task remaining ignored and thus earthly life does not bring progress but rather a step backwards in the higher development of the being.... And yet the human being has it in his own hands to make earthly life easier for himself as long as he no longer regards it as the most important thing but focusses his attention on the only important thing.... to the maturity of his soul.... From the very beginning, earthly life takes its regular course, for even that which the human being perceives as contrary to his good life is necessary for his higher development, thus right and good, even if it appears otherwise. And no matter how unrealizable the earthly demands may seem, the human being will overcome them as long as he pays attention to the maturing of his soul first and thus enters into and maintains contact with God, Who will help him to overcome even the greatest difficulties with ease, Who will not leave anyone without help who prays to Him fervently in every spiritual and earthly adversity....
