온유함과 인내. 이웃사람들에게 주는 효과.

사람은 자신을 온유해지고, 인내하도록 양육하기 위해, 사람의 잘못된 의지때문에 모든 위험에 빠진 이웃 사람의 혼을 생각하고, 이제 이런 혼을 도울 자세를 가져야 한다. 너희 사람들은 혼이 포로가 된 것을 항상 생각해야 한다. 그러면 너희는 모든 긍휼로 이런 사람을 대하게 될 것이고, 그의 의지가 혼의 사슬을 풀고, 혼에게 가장 큰 자유를 주게 하기 위해, 모든 사랑과 인내로 그들에게 역사하게 될 것이다.

그러나 인내하지 못하는 것과 과격함은 잘못된 의지를 강하게 하고, 혼은 더욱 큰 위험에 빠지게 된다. 왜냐하면 선하고 사랑이 충만한 노력이 항상 이웃사람 안에 선한 자극을 주기 때문이다. 단지 이런 방식으로만 위험 가운데 있는 이웃사람의 혼에게 도움을 줄 수 있다. 혼은 자신의 사슬을 푸는 일에 도움을 주는 모든 일에 대해 감사한다. 의지가 선한 쪽으로 향하게 하는 일이 항상 혼에게 쉬워지게 때문이다. 반면에 이웃사람이 혼을 사랑이 없게 대한다면, 혼의 겉형체는 더 굳어 진다. 왜냐면 그렇게 대하는 일은 단지 고집불통과 동시에 사랑 없음을 불러일으키기 때문이다. 혼이 혼의 사슬이 쉽게 느슨해지는 것을 느낀다면, 선에 대한 혼의 저항이 줄어든다. 왜냐하면 사슬이 대적자의 권세이지만, 그러나 선한 의지를 통해 약해질 수 있기 때문이다.

사람에게 사랑과 인내를 베푼다면, 의지도 또한 선을 향한다. 왜냐하면 그가 사랑에서 나온 모든 것을 행복하게 느끼기 때문이다. 그는 단지 이런 사랑을 사랑으로 깨달아야만 된다. 인내하지 못함과 과격함은 절대로 사랑을 짐작할 수 없게 만들고, 그러므로 동시에 이웃사람을 흥분하게 만든다. 이런 일은 혼이 큰 위험에 빠지게 한다. 그러나 너희는 이러한 위험을 해결할 가능성을 가지고 있다. 너희의 성품을 통해, 사랑과 선함과 인내와 온유를 통해, 부드러운 자극을 불러일으킬 가능성을 가지고 있다. 그러므로 악한 세력으로부터 혼이 자유롭게 하는 일에 기여할 수 있다._>아멘

Gentleness and patience.... effect on fellow human beings....

In order to educate himself to gentleness and patience, the human being should visualize his fellow human being's soul, which is in dire straits due to the human being's wrong will; and he should now be willing to help this soul. You humans should always imagine the soul's imprisonment, then you will face these people full of compassion and try to influence them with all love and patience in order to cause their will to loosen the soul's fetters and thus give it greater freedom. Impatience and vehemence, however, strengthen the wrong will and the soul gets into ever greater trouble. For good and loving endeavours always awaken good impulses in a fellow human being, and only in this way can he be helped in the distress of his soul. And the soul thanks all those who help it to loosen the fetters, for it now becomes increasingly easier for it to determine the will for good, while the shell around the soul thickens if the fellow human being meets it in unkindness, because such only causes obduracy and likewise unkindness. If the soul feels a slight loosening of its fetters, its resistance to that which is good also diminishes. For the shackle is the power of the adversary, but it can be weakened by the will to do good. If a person is shown love and patience, his will will also turn towards the good, for everything that has love as its cause is good for him, only he must also recognize love as such. Impatience and vehemence will never suggest love and therefore likewise trigger agitation in the fellow human being. This causes great distress to the soul. But you have the opportunity to remedy such hardship and, through your nature, through love, kindness, patience and gentleness, to trigger soft emotions, thus contributing to the soul's liberation from evil violence....
