“믿고 계속 기도하라."

믿고 계속 기도하라. 그일은 너희 이 땅의 삶을 위해 주어진 과제는 특별하게 큰 과제이다. 이 과제를 성취하는 일에, 인간이 이 땅에서 달성할 수 있는 것보다 훨씬 가치가 있는, 더 높이 혼이 성장하는 일이 달려 있다. 너희가 하나님을 잊지 않고 그의 도움을 구한다면, 하나님은 너희에게 필요한 힘을 주실 것이다. 이 땅의 생명이 무엇이냐? 영원 가운데 덧없는 한 순간이다. 너희가 믿음으로 행하고 하나님 안에서 산다면, 너희를 기다리고 있는 행복과 비교할 때, 이 땅의 고통과 걱정이 무엇이냐?

그러나 하나님 안에서 산다는 일은 사랑 안에 머무는 일을 의미한다. 하나님 안에서 산다는 일은 하나님께 자신을 내어주고, 모든 생각과 행동에서 하나님을 우선시하고, 하나님이 너희에게 요구하는 일을 행하고, 이웃사람에게 사랑을 행하는 것을 의미한다. 하나님 안에 사는 사람은 더 이상 자신에게 주의를 기울이지 않고, 항상 이웃 사람을 위해 일한다. 왜냐면 하나님은 사랑이기 때문이다. 그러므로 하나님 안에 산다는 일은 하나님의 사랑이 온전히 스며드는 것을 의미한다. 그러나 사랑을 행하는 사람은 하나님과 긴밀한 관계에 있고, 그는 사랑을 행함으로 자신을 사랑이 되게 형성한, 모든 사람 안에 하나님이 거하는 것처럼, 하나님 안에 거한다.

너희가 이제 큰 사랑과 희생하려는 자세를 요구하는 과제를 앞두고 있는 일을 은혜로 여기는 법을 배워야 한다. 이 은혜는 너희 혼이 더 높은 성장을 하게 해주는 은혜이다. 너희는 하나님이 사람들에게 고통을 주기 위해 무차별적으로 사람들을 만나게 한다고 절대로 믿어서는 안되고, 하나님이 너희 혼이 더 성숙하게 해주기를 원한다는 사실을 믿어야 한다. 자주 시험이 너무 어려워 너희가 실패할 위험에 빠진다. 그러나 그런 시험이 너희에게 닥쳐야만 한다. 왜냐면 그런 시험이 너희의 힘을 강하게 할 것이기 때문이다.

너희가 저항을 극복해야 하는 곳에서, 너희가 그런 저항을 극복하기 위해 일한다면, 너희 혼은 항상 더 높은 성장의 길을 가게 된다. 이 땅의 삶은 곧 끝이 나고, 영원 가운데서 너희는 너희의 이웃사람을 위해 희생한 것에 대해 여러 배로 보상을 받게 될 것이다. 너희가 선한 일을 행한 혼이 너희에게 감사할 것이다. 그러나 너희가 행하는 일을 너희는 인내와 사랑으로 해야만 한다. 너희는 모든 운명에 순복해야만 한다. 너희에게 필요한 곳에서, 항상 너희 편에 서는, 너희의 영적 친구들의 도움을 항상 지속적으로 갈망해야만 한다. 너희는 그들을 불러야만 한다. 이로써 그들이 혼과 육체의 모든 위험 가운데서 너희를 도울 수 있게 해야 한다.

그러므로 너희가 항상 단지 너희의 눈 앞에, 너희의 심장 안에 하나님을 모신다면, 너희가 하나님이 하늘과 땅의 모든 것이 복종하는 주님임을 굳고, 흔들리지 않게 믿는다면, 너희가 주님의 사랑을 얻으려고 노력한다면, 너희는 또한 권세를 얻게 된다. 너희는 모든 불화를 극복하게 될 것이다. 너희의 힘과 강함이 증가하게 될 것이고, 너희의 이 땅의 운명이 또한 더 수월하게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 시련을 이기는 사람은 영원히 두려워할 것이 없기 때문이다. 시련이 극복할 수 없게 보일지라도, 그의 믿음과 기도가 모든 문제 가운데 그를 돕기 때문이고, 너희가 돕는 존재의 도움을 원할 때, 항상 너희 곁에 함께 하는 돕는 존재가 있기 때문이다. 그러나 이런 돕는 존재는 큰 힘을 가지고 있고, 위험이 너희를 위협한다면, 진정으로 그의 힘을 사용할 것이다. 그러므로 믿고, 계속 기도하라._>아멘

"Believe and persevere in prayer...."

Believe and persevere in prayer.... It is a particularly high task which you have been given for earthly life, and a far higher maturity of soul depends on its fulfilment than a person can otherwise achieve on earth. And God will give you the strength you need if you do not forget Him and ask for His help. What is life on earth.... Just a fleeting moment in eternity. What are the sufferings and sorrows on earth compared to the bliss that awaits you if you walk in faith and live in God. But to live in God means to stand in love.... Living in God means making Him your own, putting Him first in all your thoughts and actions and doing what He asks of you.... give love to your fellow human beings.... Those who live in God will no longer take any notice of themselves, but will only ever be active for others, because God is love.... To live in God therefore means to be completely permeated by divine love. But anyone who is lovingly active is in intimate union with God.... He is in Him, just as God is in everyone who shapes himself into love by practicing works of love. You must learn to regard the fact that you are now faced with tasks which require great love and a willingness to make sacrifices as a favour, a favour which is to earn you the soul's higher development. You must never believe that the lord God brings people together indiscriminately in order to bring suffering upon them, but that He wants to mould you into a higher maturity of soul. Often the tests are so difficult that you are in danger of failing, and yet such tests must be put to you, for they will strengthen your strength. Wherever you have to overcome resistances, your soul will take the course of higher development as long as you are active yourselves in order to master those resistances. Earthly life will soon be over, in eternity you will be rewarded many times over for the sacrifices you have made for your neighbour. And you will be thanked by the soul of the person you have done good for. Yet you must do what you do in patience and love.... You must resign yourselves to all strokes of fate, you must always and constantly desire help from your spiritual friends, who will always stand by your side where you need them. You must call upon them so that they can stand by you in every adversity of soul and body. And if you only ever have God before your eyes and in your heart.... if you firmly and unshakeably believe that He is the lord, to Whom everything is subject in heaven and on earth.... if you seek to gain His love, you will also have the power, and you will become master over all adversities, you will increase in strength and vigour, and your lot on earth will now also be an easier one. For he who overcomes the trials has nothing to fear forever, for his faith and his prayer will help him in all adversities, even though it may seem as if the trials are insurmountable.... you always have a helper at your side, if you desire His help.... But He has great power and will truly also use His power if danger threatens you.... Therefore believe and persevere in prayer....
