문질을 극복하는 일. 혼의 더 높은 성장.

혼은 위로 성장해야 한다. 혼은 언제라도 세상과 세상의 기쁨과 걱정으로부터 벗어날 수 있게 되어야만 한다. 그러면 혼이 비로소 물질을 극복한 것이다. 왜냐면 그러면 위를 향하려는 의지가 세상을 향하려는 의지보다 강해지기 때문이다. 혼이 세상의 것을 더 이상 갈망하지 않는다면, 혼은 성장할 수 있고, 영적인 부를 받을 수 있다. 혼이 영의 나라로 솟아오르는 일이 어려울수록, 혼이 높은 곳으로 올라가게 된다면, 혼의 상급이 더 커지게 된다.

혼이 하나님의 도움을 구한다면, 혼은 저항을 극복하는 일을 통해 힘을 얻는다. 위로 향하려는 결정을 내린 사람의 의지는 진실로 보상을 받게 될 것이고, 혼이 포기하는 것을 천 배로 돌려받게 된다. 혼이 희생하는 것은 세상적인 것이고, 일시적인 것이지만, 그러나 혼이 받는 것은 영원한 가치를 가진 영적인 재물이다. 그러므로 사람은 가장 깊은 심장의 내면으로부터 이런 영적인 재물을 갈망해야만 한다. 그러면 비로소 영적인 재물이 그에게 제공될 수 있다.

이땅의 삶의 의미와 목적은 혼이 더 높게 성장하는 일이다. 이는 혼에게 항상 투쟁을 의미해야만 한다. 왜냐면 투쟁이 없이는 성장이 없기 때문이다. 성공하려면, 항상 무언가를 극복해야만 한다. 그의 삶이 이제 투쟁이 없는 삶이라면, 그의 영적 성숙은 의문시된다. 그러므로 그의 삶은 쓸모 없게 산 삶이다. 그러므로 완전히 평온한 이 땅의 삶이 사람에게 절대로 주어지지 않게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 그런 일은 그를 향한 하나님의 사랑이 부족한 일이기 때문이다. 그러나 하나님은 영적으로 성숙하도록 존재를 양육하는 단 하나의 목표를 가지고 있다. 그러므로 사람들이 성숙할 기회를 갖도록, 사람들을 끊임없는 투쟁의 상태에 둬야만 한다.

그러나 사람들이 이를 하나님의 사랑의 증거로 깨닫지 못하고, 대부분 자신에게 부과된 운명을 마지 못해 받아들인다. 그러나 순복하는 가운데 싸우고, 고통을 견디는 일이 그들이 비로소 더 높은 성장을 이루는 보상을 얻게 한다. 모든 일을 하나님이 보내준 것으로 영접하고, 하나님의 힘의 도움으로 모든 일을 극복하려고 노력하는 일이 혼을 이 땅의 삶의 목표대로 성숙한 상태로 만든다. 왜냐면 그러면 그가 하나님의 뜻에 순복하고, 자신과 자신의 뜻을 창조주에게 복종시키고, 이 땅의 기쁨을 하나님께 더 가까이 가기 위해 극복해야 할 위험으로 깨닫기 때문이다. 왜냐면 힘을 요구하는 일이 그에게 하나님의 사랑의 발산을 얻게 하고, 그가 하나님과 더 긴밀하게 하나가 되게 하기 때문이다.

그러므로 인간이 하나께 도달하기 위한 목표를 위해, 모든 것을 포기함으로써 저항 없이 하나님께 순복할 때만 하나님과의 연합을 이룰 수 있다. 영은 자원하지만 육체는 약하다. 혼이 몸을 생각하고, 이로써 의지를 육체에게 돌리는 한, 위를 향해 올라가려는 영은 속박을 받는다. 그러므로 혼은 육체에 대항하여 싸워야만 한다. 혼은 육체의 욕망에 주의를 기울이지 말고, 영에게 자유를 줘야만 한다.

혼은 싸움이 필요하고, 덜 매력적으로 보일지라도, 영과 하나가 되기 위해, 자원하여 몸으로부터 분리되야만 한다. 인간이 매일 육체의 욕망에 저항하여 정복자가 되어, 자신 안의 영에게 영의 영역으로 올라갈 수 있는 자유를 부여하고, 영이 그곳에서 영적 재물을 받고, 영원을 위해 모으게 하는 일이 삶의 의미와 목적이다._>아멘

Overcoming matter.... higher development of the soul....

The soul should develop upwards and must be able to detach itself from the world and its joys and sorrows at any time. Only then will it have overcome matter. For only then is the will to ascend stronger than the world, only then can it mature and receive spiritual wealth when it no longer desires earthly things. The more difficult it is for it to soar into the spiritual realm, the greater is its merit when it nevertheless manages to fly upwards. For by overcoming the resistance it gains strength, provided it implores divine assistance. The will of the person who decides to ascend will truly be rewarded. And what the soul gives up, it receives back a thousandfold; what it gives is earthly-transient, but what it receives is spiritual good, which has eternal value. And therefore the human being should desire this spiritual good from the bottom of his heart, only then can it be offered to him....

The meaning and purpose of life on earth is the higher development of the soul, and this will always have to mean a struggle for the soul, because without struggle there is no progress. Something always has to be overcome in order to achieve success. Whose life now passes without a struggle, his spiritual maturity is questioned, thus his life would have been lived uselessly. This is why man will never be granted a completely carefree life on earth, for this would be a lack of divine love for him. But God has only one goal, to educate spiritually mature beings, and therefore has to put them into a constant state of struggle so that they have the opportunity to mature. Yet people do not recognize this as a proof of God's love but mostly accept the fate imposed on them unwillingly. Yet struggling and suffering in submission only earns them the reward of higher development.... Accepting everything as God's mission and seeking to overcome it with the help of divine strength brings the soul to that state of maturity which is the goal of life on earth. For only then does he bow to God's will, only then does he submit himself and his will to his creator, and only then does he recognize earthly pleasures as a danger that he had to overcome in order to come closer to God. For the demand for strength brings him the radiance of divine love and unites him more intimately with God. Man can therefore only find union with God if he surrenders to Him without resistance, by giving up everything for the sake of one goal.... to reach God.... The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak, and as long as the soul considers the body and thus turns its will towards it, the spirit is gagged, which wants to ascend.... Thus the soul must fight against the flesh, it must not respect its desires, but give freedom to the spirit. The soul must willingly separate itself from the body in order to unite with the spirit, even if it costs a struggle and seems unattractive. And that is the meaning and purpose of life, that man daily resists the desires of the body, so that he becomes its conqueror and gives the spirit in him the freedom to soar up into the spiritual regions, to receive spiritual goods there, and thus to gather imperishable wealth for eternity....
