사랑.

사랑은 생명이고, 사랑은 힘이고, 사랑은 원인이고, 사랑은 목표이다. 사랑은 하나님의 모든 것의 본질이다. 왜냐하면 하나님 자체가 사랑이기 때문이다. 더 나아가 사랑은 황홀한 상태이고, 힘을 의식하는 상태이고, 활동하는 상태이고, 가장 긴밀하게 헌신하는 상태이다. 사랑은 하나님의 힘의 유입이다. 그러므로 가장 다양한 정도에서 이뤄질 수 있는 하나님과의 연합이고, 절대 절정에 이르지 못하지만, 점점 더 친밀하고 따라서 더 강력하게 이뤄지는 하나님과의 연합이다. 사랑이 지배하는 곳은, 모든 활동이 사랑의 지시를 받는 곳은, 사랑의 흐름 안으로 들어가는 모든 존재를 가장 행복한 상태가 되게 해줘야만 한다. 왜냐면 사랑은 단지 행복하게 해줄 수밖에 없기 때문이다. 사랑은 사랑이 붙잡는 모든 것에 가장 신적인 것을 전해주기 때문이다.

그러나 사랑의 역사에 저항하는 곳에서 사랑은 효과가 없는 상태로 머문다. 왜냐면 모든 신적인 것은 자원하여 받아드려 져야만 하기 때문이다. 그렇지 않으면 하나님과 반대되는 상태가, 강제의 상태와 영향을 받는 상태가, 될 것이기 때문이다. 그러나 사랑 안에 살고, 사랑으로 충만 해지는 일이 하나님과 같은 상태이고, 이를 의지의 자유가 부족한 것과 절대로 연관시킬 수 없다. 왜냐면 하나님을 향해 자신을 여는 모든 존재는 받고, 하나님께 저항하거나, 자신을 닫는 사람은 빈손이 되기 때문이다.

자기 안에 사랑이 있는 사람은 계속해서 사랑을 나눠주지만, 그러나 마찬가지로 사랑이 없는 곳에서는 절대로 머물 수 없고, 줄 수 없다. 따라서 사랑은 항상 사랑을 찾게 될 것이다. 그러나 사랑이 없는 곳에는 생명도 없고, 빛도 없고, 힘도 없고, 행복도 없고, 영적인 죽음과 어두움이 있다. 존재하는 것을 사랑을 통해 존재하게 된 것이다. 결과적으로 사랑이 없는 곳은 존재에게 힘과 빛이 흘러가지 않은 점에서, 존재가 없는 것이고, 그러므로 존재는 행함이 없이 어두움 속에 머물게 된다. 이런 상태는 생명이라고 할 수 없는 상태이다.

(1941년 3월 6일) 사랑만이 성취이고, 사랑이 없는 곳은 공허함과 고난과 고통이 있다. 왜냐하면 사랑이 존재를 하나님과 연결시키기 때문이다. 이는 원래는 하나였지만, 영원한 사랑을 떠난 존재와 영원한 사랑이 연합이 되는 것을 의미한다. 하나님으로부터 멀어지는 일은 자신의 출처에 대한 지식이 없이, 원초적인 힘과의 결합에서 나오는 영광에 대한 지식 없이, 평안이 없이 방황하는 것을 의미한다. 하나님으로부터 멀어진다는 일은 모든 불결하고 빛이 없는 상태에 노출되고, 이로 인해 모든 면에서 방해받고 압제 받는 것을 의미하고, 이런 세력 앞에 완전히 무기력하고, 의지의 결여를 의미하고, 포로의 상태를 의미하고, 끝없는 기간 동안 의지가 묶여 있는 것을 의미한다.

사랑 외에 다른 자유롭게 되기 위한 수단이 없다. 왜냐하면 사랑이 유일하게 존재에게 자신을 해방시킬 수 있는 힘을 주고, 사랑이 유일하게 지식을 제공하고, 이로써 위로 향하는 길을 알려주기 때문이다. 사랑은 모든 것을 이룰 수 있기 때문이다. 사랑은 모든 묶인 것을 자유롭게 해하고, 약한 모든 것을 강하게 하고, 어두움에 빛을 비춘다. 사랑이 극복하도록 도움을 주고, 이전에 존재를 묶고 있던 폭력을 약화시킨다. 사랑은 모든 저항을 남기없이 없애는 하나님의 기운이고, 그의 효과는 상상할 수 없고, 아무것도 그에 대항할 수 없다. 사랑 안에서 사는 일은 하나님 자신과 함께 사는 것을 의미한다. 그러므로 또한 모든 어두움의 세력을 다스리는 지배자가 되는 것을 의미한다. 하나님을 사랑하는 일이 영원한 빛과 영원한 영광을 보장한다._>아멘

Love....

Love is life, love is power, love is cause and love is goal. Love is the epitome of all that is divine, for God is love in Himself. Love is furthermore a state of rapture, a state of awareness of power, a state of activity and the most intimate devotion.... Love is the influx of divine strength, therefore a union with God, which can take place in the most varied degrees, therefore never reaches its climax, but constantly takes place more intimately and therefore more powerfully. Where love now reigns, where every activity is dictated by love, the most blissful state must take hold of everything that enters the circuit of love's activity. For love cannot help but trigger happiness, because it transmits the most divine to everything it grasps. However, where the working of love is resisted, love remains ineffective, for everything divine must be accepted willingly, otherwise a state contrary to God would result, a state of compulsion and influence. But to live in love, to be filled with love, is a God-like state and can never be associated with a lack of freedom of will, for everything that opens itself to God receives.... what resists or closes itself off comes away empty handed....

He who is love in himself also constantly gives out love, but can never stay and give where there is not love as well. Therefore love will always find itself to love. However, where love is missing, there is no life, no light, no strength and no bliss, but spiritual death and darkness. What is, became through love, consequently, where love is not, there must also be a state which is equal to non-being insofar as neither strength nor light flows towards the beingness, it therefore remains in inactivity and darkness.... a state that cannot be called life....

(6.3.1941) Only love is fulfilment, and where it is not, there is emptiness, misery and torment, for love brings the being into contact with God, and this means a merging of that which was originally one but separated from eternal love. To be far from God means to wander restlessly without realization of its outcome, without knowledge of the glories which grow out of the union with the original power.... to be far from God means to be exposed to all that is impure and lightless and to be hindered and oppressed by it in every way. It means complete powerlessness and lack of will towards these forces.... it means captivity and endless bondage of the will.... And there is no other solvent than love, for it alone provides the being with the strength to liberate itself, it alone gives knowledge and is therefore the path upwards.... For love accomplishes everything, it redeems all that is bound, it strengthens all that is weak, it illuminates the darkness, it helps to overcome and thus weakens the power that previously held the being bound. Love is the divine fluid that completely dissolves all resistance, that is unimaginable in its effectiveness, that therefore nothing can resist. To live in love means to live with God Himself, thus also to be master over all forces of darkness.... But loving with God guarantees eternal light and eternal glory....
