초자연적인 일을 믿는 믿음. 하나님의 약속.

자연 밖에 있는 것을 설명하기 위해서는 하나님의 사랑과, 전능과, 지혜를 믿는 믿음이 절대적으로 필요하다. 초자연적으로 보이는 모든 것은 의심을 받는다. 다시 말해 초자연적인 일은 거부를 당하고, 최대한으로 인간의 지식 밖에 있는 자연적인 것으로 여기게 만들려는 시도를 한다. 단지 깊은 믿음을 가진 사람만이 자연 밖에 있는 것이 하나님의 역사일 수 있다는 가능성을 받아들인다. 왜냐하면 하나님의 사랑과 전능함과 지혜가 그에 대한 충분한 설명이고, 증거이기 때문이다.

사람이 분명히 믿음 안에 서있다고 할지라도, 사람 안에 보이는 하나님의 역사가 가능하다고 여기지 않는 동안에는, 그의 믿음은 충분하게 깊은 믿음이 아니다. 사람들은 아직 이 땅의 삶과 영적 체험을 너무 많이 분리시키고 있고, 그들은 영적 일을 이해하기에는 여전히 너무 이 땅에 집중하고 있다. 그들은 실제 하나님을 부르지만, 그러나 하나님이 그들에게 자신을 알리기를 원한다면, 그들은 도망을 친다. 하나님을 의심할 여지없이 인정할 때, 단지 하나님을 체험하는 일이 가능하다. 그러나 하나님을 의심할 여지없이 인정하는 일은, 하나님이 원한다면, 가장 이해하기 어려운 일조차도, 이 일에 하나님에게 가능한 일로 여기는 일이다.

그러나 인간은 자신이 하나님의 뜻을 결정하기를 원하지 않아야 한다. 하나님의 사랑이 가장 위험한 상황에서 자신을 나타내기를 원하지 않는다면, 하나님이 자신의 피조물들이 스스로를 도울 수 없다면, 하나님이 투쟁하는 사람들을 지치게 되는 일로부터 보호하기 위해, 그들에게 위로와 힘을 주기를 원하지 않는다면, 사람이 하나님의 사랑을 어떻게 상상할 수 있겠느냐? 하나님이 이 땅의 자녀들을 아버지에게 다시 인도하기 위해 아무런 수단을 사용하지 않는다면, 하나님의 사랑이 얼마나 적겠느냐! 하나님의 전능함과 지혜가 진실로 올바른 수단을 택하게 될 것이고, 이 땅의 자녀들을 도움을 통해 그들의 혼을 위한 축복을 얻을 수 있게 돕기를 원하고, 도울 수 있게 될 것이다.

그러므로 하나님으로부터 오는 모든 일은 초자연적 것이어야만 한다. 사람이 하나님을 인정한다면, 초자연적인 것을 부정해서는 안 된다. 그는 단지 초자연적인 악의 세력에 희생되는 일을 두려워할 수 있다. 그러나 이런 초자연적인 악의 세력들이 사람들에게 제공하는 일은 실제 하나님을 알려주지 않는다. 사람이 하나님의 뜻을 성취하려고 노력할 때, 그는 지하 세계의 세력을 자신에게 불러드리지 않는다. 이런 세력들은 실제 하나님을 두려워하는 사람을 강하게 공격하지만, 하나님을 향한 의지가 그에게 하나님의 능력을 준다. 왜냐하면 그는 자신의 기도를 통해 하나님께 향한 의지를 나타내고, 기도를 통해 하나님의 능력을 요구하기 때문이다.

주님이 말했다. “믿음이 산을 움직인다.“ 그러나 누가 주님의 약속을 믿느냐? 하나님은 사랑이고, 사랑 속에 사는 사람은 누구나 하나님 안에 있고, 하나님은 그 안에 있다. 너희가 이제 이런 말씀을 믿는다면, 하나님이 사람을 통해 말하는 일을 어떻게 기적으로 여길 수 있느냐? “내가 너희를 모든 진리로 인도하는 나의 영을 보낼 것이다." 하나님이 자신의 영을 너희에게 보내면, 너희는 믿지를 않는다. 그러나 믿음이 없이는 하늘의 양식을 받을 수 없다. 왜냐하면 너희가 하늘의 양식을 하늘의 양식으로 깨닫지 못하지만, 그러나 너희는 하늘의 역사를 인간의 역사로 보기를 원하기 때문이다.

그러므로 위로와 힘을 너희에게 줄 수 없다. 너희는 빈손이 될 것이고, 다가오는 때의 위험 가운데 싸움이 어렵게 될 것이다. 너희 자신의 의지가 다시 장애물이 된다. 왜냐하면 영 안에서 너희에게 더 가까워지기 위해 하나님 자신이 허물기 원했던 장벽을 너희 자신의 의지가 세우기 때문이다. 너희는 하나님과 생명력이 있는 연결을 이루지 않는다. 왜냐하면 연결을 이뤘다면, 하나님이 너희에게 말할 때, 너희가 그의 음성을 깨달아야만 하기 때문이다. 하나님의 모든 말씀은 너희가 너희에게 준 약속의 말씀이 성취가 되도록, 하나님의 말씀을 따름으로써 너희의 생명을 얻게 해야만 한다.

Belief in supernatural things.... divine promise....

Faith in the love, omnipotence and wisdom of God is absolutely necessary in order to be able to explain something that lies outside the natural. Everything that appears supernatural is doubted, i.e. the supernatural is denied and an attempt is made to present it as something natural that is at best beyond human knowledge. Only the deeply believing person accepts the possibility that it could be divine activity, because the love, omnipotence and wisdom of God is explanation and proof enough for him. And even if the human being appears to have faith, this faith is nevertheless not deep enough as long as he does not believe that God's visible activity towards people is possible. People still separate earthly life too much from spiritual experience, they are still too much on earth to have an understanding for spiritual activity.... They certainly call out to God but when He wants to make Himself recognizable to them they flee.... Experiencing God is only possible when He is recognized without doubt. But recognizing Him without doubt means considering even the most incomprehensible to be possible if God wills it.... But man must not want to determine the divine will himself.... How does man imagine God's love if It does not want to express Itself in greatest need?.... if It wants to leave Its creatures without help when they can no longer help themselves.... if It does not want to send comfort and strength to struggling people in order to prevent them from fainting.... And how small this love of His would be if He did not want to use every means to bring the earthly children back to the father.... And His omnipotence and wisdom will truly choose the right means and be willing and able to consider the earthly children in such a way that they can derive blessings for their souls from it. Everything that comes from God must therefore be supernatural. If a person recognizes God then he must not deny supernatural things either, he can only fear to fall victim to supernatural evil powers. But what these offer people is truly not pointing to God.... And if a person endeavours to fulfil the divine will, he does not call the forces of the underworld to him. These will indeed press a God-fearing person hard, but the will to God also gives him the power from God, because he expresses this will to God through his prayer and thereby requests the power from God. "Faith moves mountains....", says the lord.... but who believes His promises? God is love, and he who lives in love abides in God and God in him.... So if you believe these words, how can it surprise you that God Himself speaks through a human being? "I will send you My spirit, who will guide you into all truth...." And if God sends it to you, you will not believe. Yet without faith you cannot be offered the bread of heaven, for you do not recognize it as such but want to see human work in it. And thus you cannot receive comfort and strength, and you will come away empty-handed and will have to fight hard in the adversity of the coming time. And again your own will is an obstacle, for it erects barriers which God Himself wanted to tear down in order to be closer to you in spirit. And you do not establish a living connection with Him, for otherwise you would have to recognize His voice when He speaks to you. You must allow all His words to gain life by obeying them so that the promises to you will also be fulfilled....
