구름 없는 하늘. 태양의 역사.

구름이 없는 푸른 하늘이 사람의 위협하는 구름을 향한 두려움을 사라지게 한다. 그는 즐거운 기대에 사로잡힌다. 이 땅의 걱정이 그를 우울하게 하지 않는다면, 그 자신이 쾌활하고 빛이 난다. 그는 태양의 빛을 기뻐한다. 그는 아름다움에 목마른 눈에 제공되는 모든 광경을 기뻐한다. 이런 광경이 드물지 않게 사람의 마음을 고귀하게 만드는 영향을 미칠 것이다. 외부에서 그를 행복하게 해주는 태양이 또한 사람의 심장 안에 반사될 것이다. 반면에 어둡고 많은 구름이 낀 하늘은 자주 사람에게 자주 불평하는 생각을 불러 일으킨다.

빛의 존재와 하나님의 능력의 중개자가 빛의 능력과 사랑의 능력을 사람에게 준다는 설명 외에 다른 설명이 필요하지 않다. 이제 이런 영적 지원을 받는 사람은 이로 인해 힘들이지 않고 높은 곳에 도달할 수 있다. 그가 빛의 존재들의 영향에 기꺼이 자신을 맡기면, 즉 내면의 느낌이 그를 촉구하는 대로 생각하고 행한다면, 이 느낌은 대부분 선을 긍정하게 한다. 따라서 그런 맑은 날에는 선을 행하려는 욕구가 비교적 강해진다. 인간이 자신의 내적 욕망에 저항하지 않고, 이로써 빛과 힘의 존재의 역사를 감소시키지 않아야 한다는 점도 또한 고려해야만 한다.

자연적인 태양은 이 땅의 모든 생명을 깨우는 동시에, 인간이 자신의 의지를 통해 영적으로 더 높은 성장을 위해 추구할 때, 인간의 영적인 삶에 가장 큰 영향을 미친다. 그가 자신을 태양의 자연 광선의 역사에 맡기면, 그에게 영적 힘이 훨씬 더 많이 주어질 수 있다. 왜냐하면 이런 광선은 단지 영적인 역사이기 때문이다. 그러나 사람이 전혀 영향을 받지 않고 머물기를 원한다면, 실제 효과가 나타나지 않을 수 있다. 왜냐하면 태양 광선의 효과는 육체적으로만 느낄 수 있기 때문이다. 다시 말해, 영적인 생명은 영향을 받지 않고, 단지 이 땅의 생활에만 유익을 줄 수 있기 때문이다.

그러므로 햇빛의 광선이 영적인 성장에 영향을 미치려면, 항상 의식적으로 높은 곳을 향한 추구를 먼저 해야 한다. 이런 선행조건을 갖추면, 그의 효과는 엄청나다. 다시 말해, 인간에게 비교할 수 없는 성공을 가져다준다. 이는 선을 향한 의지와 사랑을 하려는 능력과 하나님으로부터 온 지혜를 깨닫는 능력이 특별하게 강하게 되는 일로 나타난다. 위를 향한 갈망이 강해질 것이다. 사랑을 행하는 일이 항상 활발해질 것이다. 영적인 쇠퇴를 덜 두려워하게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 빛의 존재가 자원하여 여는 심장에, 의식적으로 태양을 향하고, 햇빛의 육체를 행복하게 하는 역사 외에, 영적인 역사를 깨닫고, 햇빛을 갈망하는 심장에 직접 역사할 수 있기 때문이다.

Cloudless sky....effect of the sun....

A cloudless, blue sky makes man's fear of threatening clouds disappear, he weighs himself in joyful expectations, and he himself is cheerful and radiant if earthly worries do not depress him. He rejoices in the light of the sun, he rejoices in the whole sight that presents itself to the beauty-thirsty eye. And not infrequently such a sight will also have an ennobling effect on a person's mind; the sun, which touches him favourably on the outside, will also cast a reflection in his heart, whereas a dark, cloudy sky often evokes resentful thoughts in a person. No other explanation is needed than that the beings of light, the mediators of the power from God, turn their power of light and love towards people in all its fullness, and thus the person who receives such spiritual support can reach the heights correspondingly effortlessly if he willingly abandons himself to this influence of the beings of light, i.e. if he thinks and acts as his inner feeling urges him and if this feeling mostly allows him to affirm the good. So on such sunny days the urge to be good is proportionately stronger, and it must also be observed that man does not oppose his inner desire and thereby reduce the influence of the beings of light and power. The natural sun is the awakener of all earthly life, but at the same time it also has the greatest effect on the human being's spiritual life if the human being strives towards higher spiritual development through his own will. The spiritual strength can then reach him to a far greater extent if he allows himself to be influenced by the natural rays of the sun, for these rays are only spiritual activity which can indeed remain without effect if the human being wants to remain completely unimpressed.... for then the effect of the sun's rays is only physically perceptible, i.e. only beneficial to earthly life while spiritual life remains unaffected. Therefore, conscious striving upwards is always a prerequisite for the rays of sunlight to have an influence on spiritual development, but then this effect will be tremendous, i.e. it will bring incomparable success for the human being. And this will manifest itself such that the will to do good, the strength to love and to regocnize wisdom from God will be extraordinarily strong.... The desire to ascend will increase, the activity of love will become ever more active and a spiritual decline will be less to be feared, for the beings of light can have a direct effect on hearts which willingly open themselves, which consciously turn towards the sun and, apart from the physical comfort, regocnize the spiritual effect of sunlight and desire it....
