진리를 향한 갈망의 확실한 증거.

진리의 핵심은 의식적으로 원할 때 찾을 수 있다. 사람들은 그들에게 받아드릴 만한 것을 항상 진리라고 믿고 있다. 사람들이 영접하려는 의지가 서로 다르기 때문에, 이에 따라 서로 다른 진리가 있어야만 한다. 그러나 순수한 진리는 항상 영원히 동일하게 머문다. 진리를 추구하는 사람은 오류에 빠질 수 없다. 그러나 모든 사람이 오직 진실만을 갈망한다고 생각한다면, 언제 사람이 진리를 위해 추구하겠느냐?

진리를 향한 갈망의 확실한 특징은 인간이 이전에 진리로 인정한 것을 기꺼이 포기하고, 위에서 진리를 받아들이기 위해 기꺼이 심장을 여는 일이다. 이는 순수한 진리를 향한 자신의 의지를 나타낸다. 왜냐하면 그는 항상 모든 전통에서 어떤 부족함을 깨달을 것이기 때문이다. 그는 이제 인간의 작품과 위로부터 직접 온 것을 구별하는 법을 알게 될 것이다. 그가 순수한 진리에만 관심이 있다면, 그는 먼저 사람이 기원인 모든 것을 버려야만 한다.

그는 자신이 받은 하나님의 말씀을 정확히 고수해야만 하고, 학교에서 이웃 사람을 통해 배운 것을 가능한 적게 자신의 영적인 소유로 만들려고 시도해야만 한다. 그는 극도로 일관성을 유지해야만 한다. 즉, 변형된 말씀을 진리로 인정하기 전에 항상 먼저 위에서 온 말씀이 자신에게 말하게 해야 한다. 그는 하나님의 의지와 일치하지 않는 자주 변개된 말씀을 대변하는 대적자에 대항하여 확실한 안전을 확보해야만 한다. 그는 자신의 이성의 사고로 만족해서는 안되고, 항상 어디서나 하나님의 충고를 도움으로 받아야 한다. 다시 말해 이제 가장 순수한 진리를 깨닫기 위해 항상 하나님의 권능을 갈망해야 한다. 그는 자신이 가진 선입관이 위에서 제공한 것과 일치하지 않는 경우 자신의 선입관을 포기할 준비가 되어 있어야만 한다.

A sure sign of the desire for truth....

The core of truth can only be found when it is consciously desired. People believe that whatever seems acceptable to them is always the truth, and since people are willing to accept it in different ways, there must therefore be different truths. But the pure truth always and forever remains the same. And he who strives for it cannot walk in error. But when does a person strive for truth.... when every person thinks they desire nothing other than the truth? A sure characteristic of the desire for truth is the willing surrender of what the person has previously regocnized as truth and a willing opening of the heart to receive the truth from above. He expresses his will for the pure truth, for he will always regocnize a certain lack in all traditions, he will now know how to distinguish the work of man from that which comes directly from above. And if he is only interested in the pure truth he must first of all discard everything of human origin. He must adhere exactly to the divine word he has received and try as little as possible to make spiritual property of what has been imparted to his fellow human beings in a scholastic way. He must remain extremely consistent, i.e. always let the word from above speak to him first before he regocnizes the transformed word as truth. He must have a certain certainty towards the opponent who represents the often changed word that does not correspond to divine will. He must not be satisfied with his intellectual thinking but always and everywhere seek God's advice and thus always desire the strength from God in order to regocnize the purest truth, and he must be willing to surrender his preconceived opinions if they do not correspond to what is commanded from above....
