이성과 심장의 생각. 가르치는 일. 최면.

단지 고도로 발달된 인간의 이성이 아직 탐구되지 않은 지식 안으로 들어갈 수 있고, 따라서 단지 세상 지식을 가진 사람이 미개척의 영역에 도달하는 경험을 할 수 있고, 이런 영역에 대한 열쇠를 줄 수 있다는 잘못된 견해가 있다. 사람은 실제 분명히 자신의 이성을 사용해야 하고, 모든 것을 고려하고 검토해야 하고, 자신에게 제시된 모든 것을 진리로 생각 없이 받아들이지 않아야 한다. 그럴지라도 단지 세상의 이성에만 의존하는 일은 믿는 사람이 그에게 주는 것을 점검하지 않고 받아들이는 일보다 더 어리석은 일이다.

하나님을 믿는 믿음이 세상 교사들의 가장 완벽한 교육이 가르침이 진리라는 보장을 해주는 것보다 더 큰 보장을 해준다. 진리에 도달하기 위해서는 하나님을 믿는 믿음이 필수적이다. 그러나 이 땅의 자녀가 그에게 영적으로 전해진 것을 동시에 이웃 사람들을 위해서도 갈망한다면, 그가 받은 것을 자원하여 기꺼이 전하고, 게다가 숨겨진 것을 아는 자신의 지식에 더하여 가르칠 수 있는 은사를 요청한다면, 이 땅의 자녀는 이제 그의 날카로운 이해력 덕분에 세상 지식을 가진 사람보다 훨씬 더 우월하게 될 수 있다. 사람이 자신 안에서 깨닫는 것은 이를 항상 이웃 사람들에게 제공하기에 충분하지 않다.

생각은 번개의 속도로 이 땅의 자녀를 비출 수 있고, 받아들여지고, 자원하여 영접을 받을 수 있다. 그러나 전달하기 위해서는 종종 생각으로 받은 것으로 충분하지 않는다. 왜냐하면 심장이 받은 것을 이성이 먼저 영접하고, 처리해야만 하기 때문이다. 이일에 또한 올바른 이성적인 사고가 필요하다. 하나님의 진리는 실제 모든 사람에게 제공될 수 있다. 그러나 하나님의 진리를 전달하는 일에 심장의 수용력뿐만 아니라 잘 발달된 이성적인 사고가 필요하다.

가르치는 은사가 마찬가지로 이 땅의 자녀에게 주어져야만 한다. 그러므로 자녀가 또한 하나님의 뜻에 부합하기를 원하고, 가르치는 일에 참여하기 원하면, 그는 가르칠 힘을 요청해야만 한다. 왜냐하면 여기에서도 다시 자유의지가 결정적이기 때문이다. 이 땅의 존재를 강제된 상태로 만들고 특정 시간에 가르치는 일은 하나님의 뜻과 일치하지 않는다. 이런 일은 다시 믿음의 자유를 훼손할 수 있는 사람들을 향한 지나치게 명백한 하나님의 역사가 될 것이다.

그러므로 사람이 무의식의 상태로 가르치는 일을 하는 것은 하나님의 뜻이 아니다. 그러나 이런 상태는 인간이 약한 의지를 가진 상태이고, 이런 상태는 하나님을 떠난 세력에 의해 동등하게 사용될 수 있기 때문이다. 마찬가지로 의지가 강한 이 땅의 사람과 그를 통해 사람들에게 전해진 가르침의 결과가 무조건적인 진리일 필요는 없다. 의지가 약한 사람을 자신을 표현하기 위해 사용하는 일은 하나님의 뜻과 일치하지 않는 반면에, 하나님께 모든 의지로 순복하는 이 땅의 자녀는 하나님의 뜻을 충분히 수행할 수 있다. 왜냐하면 하나님 자신이 이런 자녀를 통해 일할 수 있기 때문이다.

주님은 자녀에게 최대한의 힘과 완전한 이해력을 준다. 그러나 그는 또한 이를 구해야만 한다. 이로써 하나님을 위해 일하려는 전적인 의지를 표현해야만 한다. 이런 이 땅의 자녀가 수행하는 일은 실행 불가능한 일이 없고, 모든 일이 하나님의 진리를 전달하는 일이다. 따라서 불신자의 인간적인 지식이 신자의 지식을 훨씬 능가할 수 있지만, 그러나 신자가 하나님의 진리의 영역과 관련된 모든 논쟁에서 승리할 것이다. 왜냐하면 하나님은 의식적으로 자신을 하나님께 제공하는 자녀를 깨우치고, 그에게 번개의 속도로 그의 이성의 생각으로 파악하고, 하나님의 뜻에 따라 어떤 이의에도 반박할 수 있는 능력을 주었기 때문이다

그러므로 가장 현명하고 세상적으로 지혜로운 사람조차도, 하나님을 전혀 믿지 않고, 영적 영역으로 들어가는 깊은 문제를 증명하려고 한다면, 그런 하나님의 도구가 가진 지식에 훨씬 뒤쳐져 있게 된다. 그러나 하나님을 섬기는 이 땅의 자녀도 자신의 이성적인 사고를 사용해야만 한다. 왜냐하면 심장과 이성이 함께 일할 때 비로소 하나님으로부터 받은 지식을 또한 이웃 사람에게 전할 수 있기 때문이다. 그러므로 저세상의 세력들은 사고하는 능력을 자극해주기 위해 쉬지 않고 일한다. 이로써 영적으로 위험한 시기에 말할 수 없게 중요한 사명이 성취되게 한다.

Mind and heart thinking.... teaching activity.... hypnosis....

The erroneous view is held that only the highly developed human intellect is able to penetrate the knowledge of things that are still unexplored, and that therefore only those who have knowledge of the world can make experiences their own that reach into the realm of the unexplored and provide the key to knowledge about it. Man should certainly use his intellect, he should also consider and scrutinize everything and not thoughtlessly accept as truth everything that is presented to him.... however, relying solely on the world's understanding is more foolish than accepting without scrutiny something that a believer imparts to him. Faith in God is a greater guarantee of the truth of a teaching than the most perfect training by worldly teachers. In order to arrive at the truth, faith in God is indispensable.... However, due to the sharpness of his intellect, the earthly child can be far superior to those with worldly knowledge if he also desires what is spiritually imparted to him for his fellow human beings.... if he would like to pass on what is offered willingly and gladly and thus, in addition to his own knowledge of hidden things, also requires the gift of being able to act as a teacher. What a person regocnizes within himself is not always enough to offer to his fellow human beings. Thought can enlighten the earthly child in a flash, it can be received and willingly assimilated, but what is received in thought is often not sufficient for reproduction, for the mind must first assimilate and process what the heart has received.... This also requires correct intellectual thinking.... Divine truth can certainly be offered to all, but the fact that it is to be passed on requires not only the receptivity of the heart but also a well-developed intellectual thinking. The gift of teaching must likewise be imparted to the earthly child, and thus it must also request strength for this if it wants to comply with divine will and be active in teaching. For here again free will is decisive. Placing an earthly being in a forced state to teach at certain times does not correspond to divine will.... again, this would be too obvious an act of God towards people, which could curtail their freedom of faith. Therefore it is also not God's will that people teach in an unconscious state, since this state is a weakness of will in the human being which can be exploited by forces turned away from God.... as well as by strong-willed earthly people and the results.... which are imparted to people through these teachings.... need not be unconditional truth. Making use of a weak-willed human being in order to be able to express himself through him does not correspond to God's will, whereas an earthly child fully devoted to Him is fully capable of carrying out the divine will, for God Himself can work through this.... He gives him utmost strength and fullest understanding, yet he must also ask for these and thus manifest his full will to be active for God. Nothing is impossible for such an earthly child to accomplish if everything is aimed at conveying divine truth. And thus the human knowledge of an unbeliever can certainly far surpass that of a believer, but the latter will be victorious in every matter of dispute which reaches into the realm of divine truth, for God enlightens a child which consciously places itself at His disposal and gives it the ability to use its intellectual thinking such that it grasps it in a flash and can refute every objection according to divine will. And thus even the wisest worldly wise man falls far short of the knowledge of such an instrument of God if he wants to provide evidence about profound problems which extend into the spiritual realm without any faith in God. But the earthly child serving God must likewise use his intellectual thinking, for only when heart and intellect work together can the knowledge received from God also be conveyed to fellow human beings, and this is why the teachers in the beyond tirelessly endeavour to stimulate thinking activity so that a mission will be fulfilled which is extremely important in times of spiritual hardship....
