이 땅의 욕망을 극복하면 저항력이 커진다....

너희 모두는 너무 많이 육체를 위해 살고, 혼에게 너무 관심을 기울이지 않는다. 그러므로 너희에게 또한 저항할 힘이 부족하다. 단지 혼을 강하게 하고, 혼에게 양분을 공급하기를 원하는 사람이 이를 쉽게 극복할 수 있다. 그러나 너희가 얼마나 자주 유혹의 희생양이 되고, 세상의 안락함을 선택하느냐! 그런 일이 너희를 약하게 만든다. 육체가 자신에게 맞고, 행복하게 해주는 모든 것을 자원하여 포기할 때, 비로소 그는 자신 안에서 저항력을 느끼고, 그는 싸움에서 패배할 염려를 할 필요가 없게 될 것이다.

몸의 촉구에 굴복하지 말고, 단지 유일하게 혼의 행복을 갈망하라. 그러면 영 안에서 성장하고 성숙해질 것이다. 왜냐하면 심장을 다해 주님을 사랑하는 사람은 주님을 위해 모든 것을 포기해야만 하기 때문이다. 그들이 심장에 주님을 모시면, 그들은 더 이상 어떤 것도 필요로 하지 않는다. 그러나 모든 사랑과 모든 소원이 오직 주님에게 향할 때 비로소 주님이 오신다.

너희는 눈에 보이는 표적을 통해 믿음을 강화하기 원하고, 너희가 스스로 너희 안의 믿음을 강하게 만들기 위해 얼마나 적게 일하는 지에는 주의를 기울이지 않는다. 너희 자신과 너희의 욕망에 주의를 기울이라. 너희의 욕망이 침묵하게 만들려고 하라. 너희의 욕망에 제대로 대항하라. 너희의 힘은 증가될 것이다. 너희는 믿음의 능력을 얻게 될 것이고, 너희는 진실로 너희 자신의 약점을 두려워할 필요가 없게 될 것이다.

그러나 인류에게 주님의 역사를 가볍게 거부하지 말라는 경고가 전해진다. 왜냐하면 주님이 전 세계에 전례 없는 중요한 소식을 전하기 위해 이 길을 택했기 때문이다. 그 어느 때보다 심각했던 시대에 주님 자신이 수단을 사용하여, 아직 구원받을 수 있는 존재를 구원하려고 시도한다. 이런 시도는 주님이 자신을 직접 계시해주는 방식으로 이뤄진다. 그는 자신의 모든 말씀 안에 육신을 입는다. 주님은 계속해서 사람들에게 자신의 가르침을 전한다. 주님은 또한 사람들이 말씀을 받아드리도록 돌본다. 그러나 사람들의 의지는 아직 하나님의 뜻에 너무 많이 반항한다.

그러므로 항상 단지 적은 일부분의 사람들이 주님의 말씀 안에서 주님 자신을 깨닫는다. 그러나 주님이 자신의 말씀으로 선포한 일이 아주 빠르게 뒤따를 것이다. 모든 사람은 하나님의 능력과 지혜 앞에서 떨게 될 것이다. 그들은 주님의 말씀을 듣고, 두려워하게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 주님이 사랑과 인내로 경고할지라도, 사람들을 일으켜 세우고, 그들의 영에게 진리를 알리는 일이 그의 의도일지라도, 그는 또한 자신의 능력에 대한 증거해줄 것이기 때문이다. 주님을 인정하기를 거부하는 사람들은 주님의 분노의 음성을 듣게 될 것이다. 그런 시간에 세심한 주의를 기울이라. 이런 때가 너희를 놀라게 하지 않도록 이 때를 기대하라.

그러나 대부분의 사람들은 아무것도 보지 못하고, 가장 큰 사건의 한 가운데에서도 주님의 임재를 느끼지 못할 것이다. 왜냐하면 그들이 영적인 눈으로 보지 않고, 단지 세상과 세상이 하는 일을 보고, 눈을 위를 향하게 하는 일은 성공하지 못하기 때문이다. 하지만 자신을 극복하려고 시도하고, 세상의 욕망에 주의를 기울이지 않는 사람은 밝고 분명하게 이 때를 깨닫고, 한사람에게는 빛나는 빛을 의미하고, 다른 사람에게는 어두운 밤을 의미하는, 영적인 추구를 하는 때인 다른 때의 시작을 의미하는 세상에 일어나는 큰 사건의 한가운데 서게 될 것이다. 전적으로 믿는 가운데 아버지의 인도에 자신을 맡기는 사람은 올바른 길로, 영원한 고향으로 가는 길로, 영원한 평화를 향해 가는 길을 갈 것이다.

Overcoming earthly desires increases resilience....

You all live too much to your flesh and pay too little attention to the soul, and therefore you will also lack resilience. Only those who desire the strengthening and nourishment of the soul will find it easy to overcome. But how often do you fall prey to temptation and still choose the comforts of the world, and this makes you weak. Only when the body willingly renounces everything that appeals to it and contributes to its well-being will it feel the power of resistance within itself, and it will not need to worry about succumbing in the struggle. Do not give in to the urges of the body, but desire only the good of the soul, and you will grow and mature in spirit. For those who love the lord with all their heart must give up everything for Him, they need nothing more if they carry Him in their heart, but the lord only comes when all love and all desire is for Him alone. You want to strengthen your faith in visible signs and do not realize how little you yourselves do to make faith strong in you. Pay attention to yourselves and your desires and try to silence the latter within you.... put up the right resistance to them.... and your strength will increase, you will grow stronger in faith and you will truly have no need to fear your own weakness. But a warning is issued to humanity not to reject the lord's work lightly, for He has chosen this path in order to send news of unheard-of significance to the whole world. In a time that has probably never been more serious, the lord puts Himself in the middle and tries to save what can still be saved. And this in the same way that He expresses Himself directly. He Himself is embodied in every word, He continues to give His teachings to people, He also ensures that they are received by people, but their will still opposes the divine will too much. And so there is always only a small part which recognizes the lord Himself in His word. But very soon the deeds that He has announced in His word will also follow. And all will tremble before God's power and wisdom. They will hear Him and fear Him, for even if He admonishes in love and patience, even if it is His intention to uplift people and proclaim the truth to their spirit, He will nevertheless also bear witness to His power and those who do not want to recognize Him will hear the voice of His wrath. Pay attention to that time and expect it so that it does not take you by surprise. Most people will indeed see nothing and even in the midst of the greatest events will not feel the nearness of the lord, for they do not see with spiritual eyes but only behold the world and its goings-on, and steering upwards is without success. But he who tries to overcome himself and does not respect the desires of the world will recognize the time brightly and clearly and stand in the midst of great world events, which will mean radiant light for one person but also dark night for another and the beginning of another time, a time of spiritual striving. Whoever then fully surrenders to the father's guidance is travelling the right path.... the path to eternal home, to eternal peace....
