이성의 한계.... 세상의 현자.... "나는 아무것도 모른다는 것을 압니다. "

이성의 한계에서 영적인 힘의 작용이 시작되어야 만한다. 왜냐하면 영의 힘이 동시에 너희가 하나님의 창조의 역사에 들어가는 입구를 쉽게 찾게 해주는 자연의 수수께끼에 관한 지식을 너희 인간에게 전해주지 않으면, 너희는 너희의 지식으로 이 수수께끼를 풀 수 없을 것이기 때문이다. 너희 주위에 있는 영들은 너희를 가르치고 너희 생각을 인도하여 너희가 진리에 가까워지도록 노력한다. 너희 안에 더 많은 믿음이 있을 수록 너희가 너희 안에서 신성의 존재를 더 많이 느낄 것이고, 그럴수록 이런 생각이 더 밝고 더 분명하게 너희 안으로 들어갈 수 있을 것이다.

만물의 아버지께서 아직 감추어 놓은 것을 자신의 힘으로 헤아려 볼 수 있다고 믿는 사람은 단지 오랫동안 지식을 얻기 위해 투쟁에서 실패할 것이다. 그는 항상 자신의 성공을 완전하게 확신하지 못할 것이다. 그가 자신 안에 세운 진리에 대한 의구심은 항상 그에게 활발하게 일어날 것이다. 그는 "나는 아무것도 모른다는 것을 안다" 라는 말로 자신의 지식이 부적절함을 인정해야만 할 것이다. 그러나 하나님과의 내적 연결은 그에게 모든 지식의 열쇠를 제공하고, 동시에 그가 올바른 길을 가고, 가장 완전한 진리 안에 거하고 있다는 보장을 해준다. 사람 안의 영의 생명이 순전히 이 땅의 노력과 완전히 분리되고 살아가고, 영적으로 일어서는 사람들이, 그들의 행동과 처신이 자신들이 하나님께 속했다는 깨달음에 뿌리를 두고 있는 사람들이 영적 다리로 들어서게 되는 일은 하나님이 그렇게 되도록 만드신 것이다.

세상의 지혜로운 사람이 연구하고 고민하게 하라. 주님은 자신의 도움 없이는 넘을 수 없는 한계를 정했다. 이 도움은 다시 완전히 의식적으로 요청을 받아야만 한다. 기도하는 것보다 자신이 더 우월하다고 생각하는 사람은 자신을 완전히 잃게 될 길 가운데 있다. 그러나 만물의 아버지께 긴밀한 기도를 드릴 수 있는 사람은 이미 영적인 힘으로 일하고 있고, 이제 잘못될까 두려워해야만 하지 않고 계속해서 연구하고 생각할 수 있다. 왜냐하면 그가 청하는 도움은 청하는 순간부터 그에게 제공되기 때문이다. 진정으로 경건한 사람에게 이제 그가 단지 도움을 구하기만 하면 되고, 그에게 연구할 만한 것으로 여기는 모든 것에 대한 지식이 그에게 이제 열려질 것이라는 생각이 쉽게 든다.

그러나 그런 사람들이 자신들의 경험을 표현하면, 항상 유일하게 자신 만이 결정적인 해결책을 찾을 수 있는 능력이 있다고 믿는 사람들의 적대감과 거절을 만나게 된다. 만약에 주님 자신이 하나님을 인정하지 않고 자신이 옳다고 생각하는 지식을 가진 세상의 현자에게 그리고 하나님을 향한 깊은 겸손 속에 있고 하나님과 사람들을 섬기기 원하는 진리를 구하는 사람에게 올바른 정도의 진리를 전해주지 않는다면, 이로써 하나님을 올바르게 깨닫지 못한 사람들과 항상 서로 싸우게 될 것이다. 그러나 세상이 스스로 지식 분야에서 얼마나 적게 성취할 수 있는지에 대한 확신을 세상에게 절대로 갖게 하지 못할 것이다.

세상은 오히려 이런 올바른 노력에 반대하고 진리의 소유자를 공격하고 그들을 모함하길 원할 것이다. 그러나 주님이 직접 진리를 통해 역사하는 동안에는 진리의 전달자에 대한 모든 조치가 소용이 없다. 세상 사람들의 권세는 작지만 그들은 단지 자유의지를 통해 부끄러운 계획을 수행할 수 있는 형편에 있다. 그러나 하나님을 섬기려는 자녀가 이러한 대항하는 노력을 두려워할 필요가 없도록 하나님에 의해 그의 효과가 약해질 것이다. 최종 결정은 항상 하나님 아버지의 손에 달려 있다. 단지 사람의 자유의지를 손상시키지 않기 위해 그는 각 사람이 원하는 대로 행하게 해야만 한다. 그러나 그는 세상을 망치려는 사람들의 독한 침으로부터 자신의 백성을 보호하고 그들 자체 내에 혼란을 불러 일으켜 그들이 주의를 기울이게 한다.

자연의 법칙은 항상 잘 계산된 결과를 가져오게 하는 원인이다. 그러나 이제 지혜로운 신성이 영원부터 그렇게 할 수 있는 힘을 가지고 있기 때문에 스스로 그런 법을 뒤집는다면, 사람들은 그들이 설명할 수 없는 현상 앞에 당황하는 가운데 서게 될 것이다. 유일하게 그들의 지식 만으로는 아직 부족한 점이 아주 많다는 증거가 그들에게 주어진다. 이로써 여러 세대들이 항상 또 다시 새롭게 이 문제에 직면하게 될 수 있다. 그들은 결코 순수한 이성을 통해 최종 해결책에 도달하지 못할 것이다. 반면에 가능한한 최단 시간에 남김 없이 알게 되고 하나님의 도움으로 깨달음을 얻을 것이다. 너희가 이런 깨달음을 구하면, 너희는 결코 어둠과 잘못된 길을 걷지 않을 것이고, 너희의 길은 너희를 확실하게 영원한 고향으로 인도할 것이다. 왜냐하면 하나님 자신이 이 길을 너희에게 보여주었기 때문이다.

Limits of the mind.... worldly wise.... "I know that I know nothing...."

The work of the spiritual forces must begin at the limit of the intellect, for you humans would never be able to solve the riddles of nature with your knowledge if these same forces did not want to impart knowledge to you at the same time so that you can easily enter into the workings of divine creation. The spirits who dwell around you instruct you and try to guide your thoughts so that they come close to the truth. And the more you cultivate faith within yourselves.... the more you feel the essence of the deity within you, the brighter and clearer these thoughts will be able to penetrate you. Only those who believe that they can completely fathom out of their own strength what the father of the universe has still concealed will remain unsuccessful in their struggle for knowledge for a long time.... He will always be unsure of his success.... he will always have doubts about the truth of his findings, and he will have to admit the inadequacy of his knowledge with the words: "I know that I know nothing". But the inner connection with God gives him the key to all knowledge and at the same time the guarantee that he is on the right path and in the fullest truth. God has arranged it in such a way that the spiritual life in a person is completely separate from purely earthly endeavours and that the spiritual bridge is only entered by those who are absorbed in the spiritual and whose actions and deeds are rooted in the realization that they belong to God. Let the wise of the world enquire and ponder.... The lord has set His limits, which they cannot cross without His help, and this again must be fully consciously requested.... For he who thinks himself above prayer is on the way to losing himself completely.... However, anyone who is able to send up a heartfelt prayer to the father of all is already working with spiritual strength and can now continue his research and pondering without having to fear going astray.... For the help he asks for is granted to him from the very beginning. Thoughts now come very easily to the truly pious person, he only needs to absorb them and knowledge will be opened up to him about all things he deems desirable to explore. However, if you allow such people to express their experiences they will always encounter hostility and rejection from those who believe that they alone possess the ability to find authoritative insights, and thus the worldly wise man who does not recognize God correctly...., if not godless world wise, with his supposed knowledge and the seeker of truth who stands in deepest humility towards God and wants to serve Him and people, to whom this truth is conveyed in the richest measure by the lord Himself, will always fight against each other. Yet the world will never allow itself to be convinced of how little it can achieve in the field of knowledge through its own efforts. Rather, it will oppose this right endeavour with everything and will want to persecute and pillory the bearers of truth.... But as long as the lord Himself works through them, any action against this is fruitless. The power of worldly people is small, they are only able to carry out their disgraceful plans through free will, but the effect will be weakened by God so that the child who wants to serve God need by no means fear falling victim to these counter endeavours.... After all, the final decision is always in the hands of the heavenly father, only in order not to interfere with the human being's free will He must allow each person to act as he pleases.... Yet He protects His own from the poisonous spittle of those corrupters of the world and creates confusion in their own ranks that makes them take notice. The laws of nature are always the cause of well-calculated results.... But when the wise deity Himself overturns such a law, because He has the power to do so from eternity, and people are then perplexed by phenomena for which they know no explanation, then they are given proof that their knowledge alone is still very incomplete. And so generations can deal with problems again and again.... they will never reach the final solution by purely intellectual means, but will be completely initiated and enlightened in a very short time with God's help. If you ask for it, you will never walk in darkness and on wrong paths, but your path will lead you safely towards your eternal home, since God Himself has shown it to you....
