섬기려는 의지... 내적 생명의 깨어남...

삶의 진정한 기쁨은 항상 단지 섬기려는 의지이다. 왜냐하면 거룩한 하나님이 너의 의지를 하나님께 복종시키라고 요구하면, 하나님이 너에게 측량할 수 없는 행복을 주는 일을 제공하기 때문이다. 왜냐하면 주님을 섬기는 일에 자신을 드리는, 주님을 사랑하기 때문에 하늘의 가르침을 자신 안으로 영접할 수 있도록 이 땅의 모든 기쁨을 버리는 이 땅의 자녀에게 가장 긴밀한 기쁨이 주어지기 때문이다. 섬기려는 의지가 이렇게 이 땅의 자녀에게 풍성한 선물을 줄 것이다.

왜냐하면 하나님을 섬기는 사람은 이 땅에서 다스리는 모든 사람들보다 훨씬 위에 있기 때문이다. 주님은 모든 피조물에게 자신의 지시를 해준다. 모든 피조물이 주님의 뜻대로 일한다. 그러나 무의식적으로 그들에게 삶의 과제로 지정된 일을 한다. 그러나 인간은 이 땅의 사명을 완수하도록 강요받지 않는다. 자유롭게 자신의 삶을 살고, 그의 이런 삶 가운데 하나님을 향한 길을 선택하거나, 택하지 않을지 또는 그가 섬기기를 원할지 또는 하나님을 인정하지 않을지, 그리고 자신이 스스로 자신의 운명을 결정한다고 생각할지, 그러나 영원한 심판자를 부인할지는 전적으로 그 자신에게 달려 있다.

선한 의지를 가지고 진리에 대한 사소한 질문을 하는 생각이 깨달음에 도달하는 길에 도움이 될 것이다. 주님은 모든 구하는 사람들에게 올바른 암시를 해주기 때문이다. 하지만 믿음이 전혀 없는 사람은, 그들의 심장의 영적인 깨달음을 향한 모든 움직임을 억누르는 사람은, 단지 세상과 세상의 기쁨이나 걱정만을 바라보고 그들의 순전히 세상을 향한 생각을 절대로 떠날 수 없는 사람은 어렵게 될 것이다. 진리를 갈망하는 불꽃이라도 아직도 있는 곳에서, 생각이 영의 영역을 향해 올라갈 수 있는 곳에서, 그 사람은 홀로 남겨지지 않을 것이다.

그의 영은 밤의 어두움을 비추는 빛의 광선을 받는다. 그러면 그에게 그때까지 닥친 모든 일에 대해 희미한 이해가 시작된다. 그는 자신의 삶이 거울 이미지처럼 지나가는 것을 보게 된다. 그러면 자신의 실제 관점과는 거리가 먼 생각이 그 안에서 깨어나게 될 것이다. 그는 점검해보고, 판단해보고, 비교를 해본다. 그리고 그는 그리스도의 가르침에서 많은 여러 진리의 말씀을 발견하고 비로소 그가 이를 이해할 수 있게 된다. 혼은 이제 새로운 길을 걷는다.

그러나 모든 구도자들처럼 그는 의심에 시달림을 받을 것이다. 그러므로 처음에는 영적인 생각을 항상 또 다시 거부할 것이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 자신을 관철시키고 이제 심장으로 굳게 영접하면, 그 사람의 내적인 생명도 활발하게 활동하도록 깨어날 것이다. 이로써 많은 단계는 항상 그리고 항상 또 다시 반복을 행해야만 할 것이다. 그러나 그럴지라도 노력하는 이 땅의 자녀는 자신의 의지로 그의 생각이 비로소 초자연적인 문제로 향하면 지원을 받을 것이다. 영적인 모든 것을 거부하는 사람들은 그렇게 쉽게 도움을 받을 수 없을 것이다.

그렇지 않으면 자유의지가 말살되었을 것이고 이로써 혼을 돕는 일을 이룰 수가 없기 때문이다. 끊임없이 더듬고 영적 진리를 찾는 일이 이 땅의 자녀가 자신에게 다가오는 모든 영적인 힘을 받아들이게 할 것이다. 사람이 빛이 되기를 갈망하는 곳에는 이미 불꽃이 점화된다. 이는 단지 작은 불꽃 일뿐이다. 그러나 이 작은 불꽃이 다시 더 부지런히 연구하도록 자극하고 어두움의 권세의 힘을 무너트린다. 모든 존재하는 인간은 자유의지로 단지 첫 발을 내딛으면 되고, 진리에 더 가까워지려는 소원을 가지고 자신의 생각을 무한의 세계로 향하게 하면 된다.

그러면 그는 그를 이 땅에 묶어 놓은 묶음을 풀고, 그때부터 그의 영은 빛이 있는 높은 곳으로 향해 올라간다. 너희 이 땅의 자녀들은 단지 원하기만 하면 된다. 그러면 다른 모든 일은 하나님의 사랑과 은혜를 통해 너희에게 아주 당연하게 주어져서, 너희가 단지 항상 너희를 이렇게 확실하게 인도하고 영원한 신성을 가리키는 심장의 미묘한 동요를 따르기만 하면 된다. 너희가 신성을 섬기면, 너희는 받을 것이다. 너희가 자원하여 섬기려고 하는 대로 받을 것이다. 왜냐하면 하나님은 자신을 섬기는 모든 사람들이 언젠가 모든 영원에 영원까지 다스릴 것이라고 약속했기 때문이다.

Will to serve.... awakening of the inner life.... wanting....

Life's true joy is always only the will to serve, for if the deity demands that you subordinate your will to It, it will thereby give you an activity which will make you exceedingly happy.... for it gives the earthly child the most heartfelt joy to place itself at the lord's service, to renounce all earthly pleasures for His sake and to be able to absorb the teachings of heaven. And so the will to serve will give the earthly child an abundance of gifts, for he who serves God is far above all those who rule on earth. The lord gives His instructions to all creatures and each one carries out the lord's will, yet unconsciously, through the activity which is given to it as a task in life.... However, the human being is not forced to fulfil his earthly task.... it is entirely up to him to freely create his life and in the midst of this life to choose the path to God or not.... whether he wants to serve or does not recognize God and only believes himself to be shaping destiny.... but denies an eternal judge.... The slightest question of thought in good will about the truth will help you on the path of realization, for the lord gives all seekers the right clue. But it will be difficult for those who are completely without faith.... who stifle every stirring of their heart for spiritual realization.... who only see the world and its joys or sorrows and who can never separate their thoughts from the purely earthly. Where there is still a spark in them that longs for truth, where a thought is still able to soar into spiritual regions, the person will not be left alone and his spirit will receive the ray of light that shines into the darkness of the night. Then he will begin to understand everything that has happened to him so far.... He sees his life passing by as a mirror image, and then thoughts awaken in him that are far removed from his actual views.... He scrutinizes and weighs and compares.... And he finds many a true word from the teaching of Christ, which only now becomes understandable to him. The soul now treads a new path.... But just as all seekers are plagued by doubts, a spiritually orientated thought will also be rejected again and again at the beginning until it nevertheless asserts itself and is now firmly accepted in the heart and thus the inner life of the person has awakened to lively activity. Many a step has to be taken again and again, but such a striving earthly child will be supported once it has turned to the question of the supernatural of its own free will. Only the one who rejects everything spiritual cannot be helped so easily, as otherwise free will would be put out of action and therefore a furtherance of the soul could not be achieved. The constant groping and searching for spiritual truth will also make an earthly child receptive for every spiritual strength coming towards him.... Where a person desires to be enlightened, the spark has already been ignited.... It is only a small flame, but it stimulates more diligent research and the power of darkness is broken. Every human being only needs to have taken the first step of their own free will.... to lift his thoughts into infinity with the desire to come closer to the truth.... Then he has broken the spell that kept him bound to earth until then, and from then on his spirit soars into light heights.... You children of the earth only need to want.... everything else comes to you so naturally through God's love and grace that you only ever need to obey the subtle stirrings of the heart, which so surely guides and points you towards the eternal deity.... and if you serve Him you will receive, and that to the same extent as you are willing to serve. For God promises to all who serve Him that they shall one day reign for all eternity....
