Servire nella libera volontà – L’amore dell’io

Chi conosce il percorso di sviluppo dello spirituale, chi è informato sul senso e scopo della Creazione, sa anche, che l’uomo come perfetta Opera di Creazione forma la conclusione di un processo di sviluppo infinitamente lungo, che si è svolto su questa Terra. Egli sa inoltre, che a questa vita terrena segue irrevocabilmente un soggiorno nel Regno dell’aldilà, dove non esistono più delle Creazioni materiali, dove però l’ulteriore sviluppo può ancora procedere sotto condizioni terribilmente difficili, ma del tutto diverso dal mondo materiale. Ed egli sa, che questa sorte colpisce coloro, che non hanno concluso il percorso di sviluppo sulla Terra fino al punto, che la loro anima possa entrare nel Regno di Luce. Ma questa conoscenza ce l’hanno soltanto la minor parte degli uomini sulla Terra, perché per poter afferrare e credere questo, ci vuole prima la volontà di voler sapere tutto questo, ma il desiderio di conoscenza esiste soltanto raramente presso gli uomini. La volontà dell’uomo è rivolta fortemente al fatto, di sfruttare la Creazione possibilmente per il vantaggio della vita corporea. Gli uomini aiutano in Alto così inconsapevolmente lo spirituale ancora legato nella Creazione, perché questo può ora servire, anche se nella legge dell’obbligo, ma che cosa ne viene fuori per la sua anima? Oggi viene liberata molta materia attraverso la volontà dell’uomo, da ciò si liberano particelle di anime, e queste vengono poi trasformate dalla Volontà divina in nuove Creazioni, a cui è assegnata una funzione di servizio, che fa salire lo spirituale in alto per via costrittiva. L’uomo dunque libera dello spirituale dalla materia, ma lui stesso può fermarsi nel suo sviluppo oppure persino retrocedere, se non serve contemporaneamente il suo prossimo nella libera volontà. E se fa questo consapevolmente, sempre nella volontà di servire il prossimo, allora la sua attività terrena può apportare alla sua anima una benedizione inaspettata, persino quando non sa niente del percorso di sviluppo dello spirituale, persino quando è senza ogni conoscenza del senso e scopo della vita terrena e delle Creazioni di questa Terra. Non è proprio assolutamente necessario di sapere questo, se solo serve liberamente nell’amore. Ma quasi sempre l’uomo viene spinto all’attività da un amore che però non è l’amore per il prossimo, ma è solo l’amore per sé stesso. Allora la sua attività può avere l’effetto dannoso sui suoi prossimi, perché trova maggiore soddisfazione, quanto più si dedica scarsamente al prossimo. L’amore dell’io però ha anche un effetto sfavorevole sulle Opere della Creazione, che all’uomo sono state assegnate come campo d’azione, mentre in tali Opere di Creazione lo sviluppo dello spirituale viene sovente interrotto prima del tempo e questo per via del proprio vantaggio, perché l’amore dell’io contraddice l’Ordine divino e perciò anche il modo d’agire dell’uomo è totalmente diretto contro l’Ordine divino. Anche se tali uomini, nei quali è ancora predominante l’amore dell’io, sapessero del senso e dello scopo della Creazione nonché della vita terrena, non rinuncerebbero comunque al loro errato modo di vivere ed agire contro l’Ordine divino, perché sono totalmente dominati dall’amore dell’io e sono inaccessibili ad altre immagini. E questi uomini giungono nel Regno spirituale in una disposizione d’animo, che è assolutamente terribile, perché ora non possono più soddisfare il loro amore dell’io sulla Terra, e la via verso il vero amore, verso l’amore per il prossimo, è per loro infinitamente lunga e sovente in genere non la trovano. L’uomo che ama soltanto sé stesso, porta con sé quindi l’amore per la materia nel mondo dell’aldilà. E liberarsi nell’aldilà da questo falso amore, che ha desiderato sulla Terra con tutti i sensi è per lui oltremodo difficile. E queste immagini apparenti lo stimolano all’estremo, ma per passare subito, quando intende soddisfare le sue brame. Per questo motivo tali brame diventano ancora più veementi, e sono terribili tormenti, che ora l’anima ha da sopportare, e questo finché non combatte in sé stessa la brama, che ha per conseguenza anche che le tentazioni diventano sempre più deboli. Ma gli uomini non sanno quali vantaggi possono crearsi per il Regno nell’aldilà, se già sulla Terra vincono la materia, quando diventano padroni della materia e non i suoi schiavi. L’uomo può rendersi servibile tutto sulla Terra, perché questo è lo scopo di tutta la Creazione, che serva all’uomo e ad ogni creatura, perché il servire per lo spirituale legatovi significa liberazione. E così l’uomo stesso contribuisce molto, quando dà alla materia la possibilità di servire, quando lui stesso crea delle cose, che nuovamente adempiono uno scopo e delle quali può anche rallegrarsi come di un Dono di Dio. Ma egli deve sempre pensare alla destinazione spirituale delle cose materiali, e non legare sé stesso a queste, in modo che tutto il suo pensare e tendere sia soltanto ancora per la conquista di beni materiali, per crearsi con ciò una vita comoda nel benessere. Perché con ciò egli cadrebbe sempre di più molto al di sotto di quello che si trova nello sviluppo, cosa che per lui stesso significherebbe una retrocessione spirituale. Lo sviluppo deve sempre procedere verso l’Alto. La meta dell’uomo nella vita terrena è la totale liberazione dalla forma materiale, un vincere la stessa. Allora l’anima può abbandonare il corpo terreno libera e leggera e lanciarsi in Alture luminose. Allora non ricadrà più nella materia e non sarà più costretta di trattenersi ancora di più nelle sfere terrene, benché non viva più sulla Terra. Voi uomini sulla Terra non sapete ancora, quanto infinitamente grata sia un’anima, che si può liberare da queste sfere. Ma lasciatevelo dire, che ciò a cui voi tendete sulla Terra con i vostri sensi, è il vostro peggiore nemico. Perché la vostra beatitudine è nella libertà, ma siete non-liberi, finché vi incatena ancora la materia. E la materia vi incatena finché siete ancora dominati dall’amore dell’io, finché non liberate voi stessi da ciò mediante l’amore servente. Solo chi serve, diventa libero. E l’esistenza come uomo vi dà continuamente l’occasione di servire nell’amore. Ma come uomo avete di nuovo una libera volontà, e non siete come nel pre-stadio dello sviluppo costretti a servire. Ora l’amore deve spingervi al servire. Ma l’amore servente sarà esercitato soltanto da quell’uomo, che combatte l’amore dell’io, che non vuole possedere, ma donare. E costui impara anche a disdegnare la materia, se ne distacca, e da questo diventa totalmente libero. Il suo percorso di sviluppo sulla Terra è poi terminato con il successo della definitiva spiritualizzazione della sua anima, che ora può di nuovo essere attiva nel Regno spirituale nella Pienezza di Luce e Forza. Ed anche là si prenderà di nuovo cura con amore servente di quelle anime, che languono ancora nella non-libertà ed assenza di Luce e che hanno bisogno d’aiuto, per poter liberarsi finalmente anche dalle loro catene.

Voluntarily being of service.... Selfish love....

Anyone who knows the spirits' process of development, who is informed of Creation's meaning and purpose, also knows that the human being as the most perfect work of creation forms the closing stage of an infinitely long process of development which has taken place on this earth. He knows that this will irrevocably be followed by his stay in the kingdom of the beyond where material creations no longer exist, where development can certainly continue under incredibly difficult conditions yet in an entirely different way than in the material world.... if the process of development on earth has not been completed to a point that the soul will be able to enter the kingdom of light. But only the least people on earth realise this, for it first requires the will to know this in order to be able to understand and believe it and this is only rarely present in people. In contrast, people's will is extremely strongly inclined to utilise the works of creation such that they will benefit their physical life.... Admittedly, by doing so people unconsciously help the bound spiritual substances in the creations to progress, because it is of service to them, although in the law of compulsion.... A great deal of matter is being dissolved through human will, it is reshaped into constantly new creations all of which are assigned useful functions, which necessarily results in the spirits' progress.... Yet the human being himself can thereby also come to a standstill or even regress in his development if he is not helpful himself at the same time, since he is no longer subject to the law of compulsion and therefore has to push his own higher development forward.... As soon as he does everything consciously, always with the intention of helping his fellow human being, his earthly work can derive inconceivable blessings for his soul.... even if he has no idea about the spirits' process of development, even if he is without all knowledge about the meaning and purpose of earthly life and the creations of this Earth.... He does not need to know it if only he voluntarily helps with love.... Yet usually he is indeed impelled by love to work but only by the love for himself.... In that case his activity can also have a detrimental effect on his fellow human beings, for the less he considers his fellow human being the more his selfish love will be satisfied.... But selfish love also has an unfavourable effect on the works of creations which were assigned to the person's field of activity, insofar as that the spirit's development in such works of creation will often be prematurely interrupted for the sake of his own advantage, because selfish love contradicts divine order and thus the person's conduct is also totally contradictory to divine order.... Even if such people knew the meaning and purpose of the creation and of earthly life they would not stop their wrong way of life and their actions against the divine order, because they are utterly controlled by selfish love and completely unapproachable by other ideas. And these humans enter the spiritual kingdom in an absolutely dreadful state, for they can no longer satisfy their selfish love like on earth, and the path to the right love, to love for their neighbour, is infinitely far away and often cannot be found at all....

Hence, a person who only loves himself takes his love for matter along into the other world, and release from it is extremely difficult, for things he desired with all his senses constantly appear before his eyes which are acutely tempting to him only to instantly disappear when he wants to satisfy his cravings.... inciting his cravings even more, and these are dreadful torments which the soul has to suffer until it starts to fight its craving with the result that the temptations gradually weaken. People have no idea of the benefits they create for themselves in the beyond if they try to overcome matter while they are still on earth, if they become its master and not its slave.... The human being can make use of everything on earth for his advantage, for the purpose of all creations is to serve the human being as well as every creature.... because being of service signifies redemption for the bound spirits within.... Consequently, the human being himself contributes a lot towards this if he offers matter the opportunity to help, if he creates things for himself which fulfil a useful purpose, in which he can certainly take pleasure again as a gift from God, yet he should always remember the spiritual purpose of material things and not tie himself to it such that all his thoughts and intentions apply to the gain of material goods in order to create a comfortable life for himself and to descend increasingly lower than things which are far less developed than him.... which signifies spiritual regression for him.... The development must always be a progressive one, and the human being's goal in earthly life is the complete release from the material shell, the rise above the latter, for then the soul will be able to leave the physical body as a free and unburdened being and soar into higher spheres.... Then it will not be held back by matter and forced to remain in earthly spheres although it no longer lives on earth.... You humans don't know how grateful a soul is which can detach itself from these spheres, but take it for granted that that which you strive for on earth with all your senses is your biggest enemy.... For your bliss rests in freedom, but you remain enslaved for as long as matter still holds you captive, and it will hold you captive for as long as you are still governed by selfish love, as long as you don't liberate yourselves through helpful love.... Only the one who is of service will be liberated.... And your existence as a human being constantly provides you with the opportunity to be of loving service....

However, you have free will and, unlike in your preliminary stage of development, are not forced to be of service. Love must impel you to do so, and helpful love will only be practiced by a person who suppresses his selfish love, who does not want to take but to give. He will indeed learn to despise matter; he will detach himself from it and liberate himself completely.... His process of development on earth will be successfully concluded with the complete spiritualisation of his soul, which subsequently will be able to be active in the spiritual kingdom with an abundance of light and strength and in helpful love take care of those souls which still linger in slavery and darkness and require help in order to finally be able to also let go of their chains....
