La materia morta - L’attività - La Vita

Il cambiamento che si svolge sulla materia apparentemente morta è impercettibile e perciò l’uomo non vi può constatare nessuna vita. Ma in lunghi spazi di tempo anche questa materia assume un’altra forma, perché ogni attività, anche la mimimissima, procura una nuova formazione o trasformazione della materia e l’attività è vita. Il processo di trasformazione, se non viene eseguito tramite la mano d’uomo, è sovente di una durata molto lunga nelle Opere di Creazione sulle quali la volontà umana ha poca influenza, quindi nelle nuove Creazioni, perché si svolgerà secondo la Volontà divina. Dio sà di ogni resistenza dello spirituale relegato nella materia e secondo la sua volontà per l’attività diminuisce la rigidità dell’assenza di vita; l’attività inizia secondo la Volontà di Dio e la materia cambia, anche se in un modo appena percettibile. E non esiste nulla nella Creazione terrena che non abbia da mostrare questa lenta trasformazione, benché l’occhio umano non la vede, perché si svolge in modo oltremodo lento. Ma tutto nella Creazione sulla Terra si trova in un lento sviluppo verso l’Alto, sottoposto alla Legge dell’obbligo. Di conseguenza nulla rimane nella stessa forma, ma cambia in parte lentamente, in parte rapidamente, secondo la resistenza che lo spirituale oppone a Dio nelle Opere di Creazione. E perciò sulla Terra non esiste nulla di morto, cioè che fosse in sé senza vita, ma tutto cela la vita, perché anche lo spirituale nella materia più dura ha la spinta all’attività e dipende solo dalla sua volontà se possa eseguire questa attività, in contrasto allo stato di morte nell’aldilà dove allo spirituale manca qualsiasi Forza, dove rimane totalmente inattivo, ma ciononostante nella consapevolezza della sua esistenza. Perciò lo stato della volontà legata nella materia è ancora da preferire allo stato di morte nell’aldilà, perché una volta migliora, anche se dopo un tempo infinitamente lungo, perché lo spirituale nella materia deve soltanto rivolgere nella giusta direzione la volontà e la spinta per la libertà, mentre la volontà dell’essere nell’aldilà è totalmente indebolita e perciò non gli serve più a nulla. Sosta totalmente senza volontà nello stato morto e sprofonda sempre di più nell’abisso, finché non viene usato come massa raffreddata, come involucro dello spirituale, come esso stesso materia, che ora dipende dalla volontà dello spirituale che vi si cela, per quanto tempo la materia rimane immutata. Perché dev’essere fatta una differenza fra lo spirituale che è relegato nella materia e la materia stessa, che è pure dello spirituale, ma ancora molto più ribelle contro Dio. La dura materia in sé potrebbe essere chiamata morta, ma lo spirituale che si cela in lei le dà la vita, in modo che anche per questa comincia una volta il processo della dissoluzione e con ciò anche l’inizio dello sviluppo verso l’Alto in una nuova epoca di Redenzione. Lo spirituale nella materia ne può sfuggire appena questa viene distrutta e continuare il suo sviluppo in una nuova forma che è meno dura, ma la materia stessa non è ancora dissolta e viene di nuovo vivificata dallo spirituale nella rispettiva resistenza di volontà, in modo che la materia concede sovente per tempi infiniti il soggiorno per questo spirituale, prima che essa stessa possa dissolversi. Lo stato di morte è così tormentoso che significa il più profondo inferno e le forze del mondo inferiore sono soddisfatte solamente quando hanno portato l’anima in questo stato, perché significa la più estrema lontananza da Dio, quindi sottrazione di qualsiasi Forza da Dio. Ma Dio ha Pietà anche di questo spirituale e gli dà la possibilità di redimersi di nuovo dallo stato morto. Ma trascorrono delle Eternità, prima che inizia questo processo di Redenzione che richiede nuovamente tempi infiniti prima che sia terminato.

Dead matter.... activity.... life....

The change that takes place in seemingly dead matter is imperceptible, and that is why man cannot detect any life in it. But in long periods of time even this matter takes on a different form, because every activity, even the most minimal, brings about a reshaping or transformation of matter and activity is life. The process of transformation, if it is not carried out by human hands, is often of very long duration in works of creation over which human will has little influence, i.e. in creations of nature, because it will take place according to divine will. God knows about the resistance of the spiritual bound in matter, and depending on its will for activity the rigid lifelessness decreases; activity starts according to God's will, and matter changes, even if in a hardly noticeable way. And there is nothing in earthly creation that does not show this slow transformation, even though the human eye does not see it because it happens extremely slowly. Yet everything in creation on earth is in slow upward development, subject to the law of compulsion.... Consequently, nothing remains in the same form but changes, partly slowly, partly quickly, depending on the resistance which the spiritual opposes God in the works of creation. And thus there is nothing dead on earth, i.e. lifeless in itself, but everything harbours life, for the spiritual substance, even in hardest matter, has the urge for activity and it only depends on its will whether it can carry out this activity, in contrast to the state of death in the beyond where the spiritual substance lacks all strength for activity, where it remains completely inactive but is nevertheless aware of its existence. This is why the state of bound will in matter is still preferable to the state of death in the beyond, because it once improves, albeit after an infinitely long time, because the spiritual being in matter has the urge for freedom and only needs to direct its will in the right direction, whereas the being's will in the beyond is completely weakened and therefore it no longer uses it.... It remains completely without will in a dead state and sinks ever more into the abyss until it is used as a cold mass, as a cover of the spiritual substance, as matter itself, which is now dependent on the will of the spiritual substance sheltering in it for how long matter exists unchanged. For a distinction must be made between the spiritual, which is bound in matter, and matter itself, which is likewise spiritual, yet much more God-opposing. Hard matter in itself could therefore be called dead, yet the spiritual substance within it gives it life, so that the process of dissolution will one day begin for it too and thus also the beginning of the upward development in a new epoch of redemption. The spiritual in matter can escape from it as soon as it is destroyed and continue its development in a new form which is less hard, but matter itself is not yet dissolved and is again enlivened by spiritual in corresponding will to resist, so that matter often grants endless times to such spiritual stay before it can dissolve itself. The state of death is so agonizing that it signifies the deepest hell, and the powers of the underworld are only satisfied once they have brought the soul into this state, because it signifies utmost distance from God, thus withdrawal of all strength from God. But God also has mercy on this spiritual being and gives it the opportunity to redeem itself again from the dead state. But eternities pass before this process of redemption begins, which again requires infinite times before it is finished....
