L’aiuto nella miseria dell’anima, la più grande opera d’amore al prossimo

Questo è il Comandamento più importante dell’amore per il prossimo, che non dovete lasciare i prossimi nella miseria dell’anima. Tutte le miserie terrene finiscono e perciò non sono da considerare così importanti. La miseria dell’anima però rimane, anche quando l’uomo conclude la sua vita terrena, se non cerca di eliminarla sulla Terra. Dove la sua propria forza non basta, là dovete stargli vicino aiutandolo, altrimenti non sentite nessun amore nel cuore e quindi non adempite il divino Comandamento dell’amore per il prossimo, perché una tale anima è indebolita e non riesce ad avere la forza per l’auto redenzione. E’ oscura e senza Luce, è ignara e non-libera e voi dovete cambiare questo stato in quello di sapienza, luminosità e libertà. Perciò dovete istruire questi uomini, dovete dare loro una chiara immagine, come deve percorrere la sua via terrena, dovete introdurlo nello stesso sapere, che ha reso felici voi e che avete già accolto in voi. L’immergersi nei Doni dello Spirito datovi direttamente da Dio deve rendere felice ogni anima e viceversa uno stato infelice significa per l’anima miseria spirituale, perché nell’uomo non è chiaro e limpido. Se dunque il prossimo langue nell’oscurità spirituale, compiete la più grande opera d’amore, se gli indicate i mezzi e le vie, per bandire questa oscurità. Delle anime che sono nella miseria, non hanno la Forza di avvicinarsi alla Luce, quindi l’uomo deve portar loro incontro questa Luce. Deve osare ad inoltrarsi nelle regioni più oscure, per illuminarle con la sua Luce, perché la Luce è un beneficio anche per quegli esseri ancora totalmente ignari e la Luce elimina la miseria dell’anima, quindi agli uomini dev’essere offerta la sapienza, affinché diventino sapienti e ricevano Luce e Forza. Questa è l’unica possibilità per aiutare l’anima, affinché maturi finché dimora sulla Terra. Certo, l’uomo sente poco quando l’anima si trova nella miseria, perché orienta la sua attenzione più ai bisogni del corpo e si accontenta, quando può se li può esaudire. E dato che non sente la miseria dell’anima, non fa nemmeno nulla per aiutarla. L’uomo che tende al bene spirituale però sa della miseria delle anime nell’aldilà e della mancanza dello stato di maturità e deve utilizzare il suo sapere ed aiutare degli uomini smarriti, mentre cerca di muoverlo pieno d’amore, di tendere pur lui al bene spirituale e mettendogli davanti agli occhi l’inutilità dei beni terreni. La preoccupazione per l’anima del prossimo è il vero esercizio dell’amore per il prossimo, perché può salvare l’anima dall’eterna rovina. Quando dunque l’uomo chiede la Forza per questo agire nell’amore, non farà mai invano una richiesta. Riceverà la Forza nella stessa misura, come la vuole usare per la salvezza delle anime.

Help in emotional distress the greatest work of love for our neighbour....

This is the most important commandment of neighbourly love, that you should not leave your fellow human beings in the misery of their souls. All earthly hardship comes to an end and is therefore not to be taken so seriously. But the hardship of the soul remains, even if the human being ends his earthly life, if he does not try to remedy it on earth. And where his own strength is not sufficient to do so, you should help him, otherwise you will not feel love in your heart and thus not fulfil the divine commandment of neighbourly love. For such a soul is weakened and unable to muster the strength to redeem itself. It is dark and without light, it is ignorant and unfree.... and you should change this state into a knowing, light-filled and free one. And therefore you have to teach these people, you have to give them a clear picture of how they should walk their earthly path, you have to introduce them to the same knowledge which makes you happy and which you have already absorbed within yourselves. The immersion into the spiritual gifts directly sent to you by God must make every soul happy, and conversely, a hapless state will mean spiritual hardship for the soul because there is no light and brightness in the human being. And thus, if your fellow human being languishes in spiritual darkness, you will be doing the greatest work of love if you show him ways and means to banish this darkness. Souls in need do not have the strength to approach the light, so the human being has to carry the light towards them. He must venture into the darkest areas in order to illuminate them with his light.... For light is a blessing even for those beings who are still completely ignorant, and light remedies the soul's adversity, thus people must be offered wisdom so that they will become knowledgeable and receive light and strength. This is the only way to help the soul to mature as long as it remains on earth. Admittedly, the human being feels little when the soul is in need, for he focuses more on the body's needs and is content if he can fulfil them. And because he does not feel the soul's need, he does nothing to help it. The person striving for spiritual possessions, however, knows about the soul's hardship in the beyond and about its lack of maturity, and he should use his knowledge and help the erring person by lovingly trying to persuade him to strive for spiritual possessions as well and by showing him the worthlessness of earthly possessions. Caring for the soul of one's fellow human being is the true exercise of neighbourly love, for it can save the soul from eternal ruin. And if a person asks for strength for this labour of love, he will never make a wrong request. He will receive strength to the same extent as he wants to use it for the salvation of souls....
