La lotta della Luce contro la tenebra

Tutto lo spirituale di Luce sta nella lotta contro la tenebra, benché le lotte degli esseri di Luce che consistono solo nell’instancabile attività d’amore, devono comunque essere chiamate lotte, quando la loro meta è di vincere la tenebra, cioè di respingerla un poco alla volta attraverso la Luce. Questa lotta richiede grande amore e pazienza, perché dalla parte avversa viene opposta la massima resistenza a questa lotta e perciò deve sempre di nuovo essere tentato di vincere questa resistenza. Ma non esiste nulla che per gli esseri di Luce sia troppo faticoso oppure che possa indebolire il loro amore; la compassione degli esser di Luce per le anime senza Luce, li spinge alla massima attività che si esprime nel continuo insegnare o voler convincere, perché sanno dello stato tormentoso degli esseri che stanno ancora sotto l’influenza dell’avversario e vorrebbero cambiarlo, perché non possono fare altro che fare del bene a tutti gli esseri e perciò vorrebbero anche sospendere la loro mancanza di sapere. Di conseguenza devono andare contro l’ignoranza. Devono combattere contro ogni falso insegnamento, contro ogni falsa interpretazione della Parola divina, devono anche cercare di cambiare la letargia delle anime in una fervente osservazione di coloro che si avvicinano a loro. Gli esseri di Luce esercitano la loro influenza sull’essere imperfetto, finché quest’ultimo non si oppone ostinato. La miseria ed il tormento degli esseri oscuri trovano sempre l’amore compassionevole degli esseri di Luce, cioè il loro amore sarà sempre pronto ad aiutarli. Ma la resistenza ostacola gli esseri di Luce di avvicinarsi con amore, quindi gli esseri imperfetti si giocano l’assistenza da sé stessi quando la rifiutano. Allora l’attività salvifica è diventata una impossibilità per gli esseri di Luce. Malgrado ciò non cedono nei loro sforzi in quanto badano ad ogni moto per cui l’essere è accessibile per un raggio di Luce e sfruttano tali moti per il rinnovato agire d’amore. Ma dato che l’amore è un’arma più forte impari nella lotta per gli esseri, alla tenebra vengono svincolati innumerevoli esseri e guidati al Regno di Luce, perché l’amore è in grado di fare cose straordinarie e solo la volontà di rifiuto, cioè la cosciente sottomissione della volontà al potere oscuro, esclude un agire d’amore di quegli esseri di Luce. La lotta della Luce contro la tenebra dura in eterno, ma il Regno di Luce aumenta costantemente, mentre il regno della tenebra perde in grandezza e potere.

The battle of light against darkness....

Although the battle of the beings of light only consists of tireless loving activity, it nevertheless has to be called a battle, for its goal is to defeat the darkness, i.e. to gradually displace it with light. This battle requires great love and patience because the opposite side puts up the greatest resistance to this struggle and therefore repeated attempts must be made to defeat this resistance. But there is nothing which would be too arduous for the beings of light or which could weaken their love; compassion for the lightless souls will always impel the beings of light to utmost activity, which expresses itself in constant teaching and wanting to convince, for they know about the agonizing state of the beings which are still under the adversary's influence and would like to change it, because they cannot help but do good to all beings and therefore also want to remedy their lack of knowledge. Consequently, they have to fight against ignorance. They must fight against every false teaching, against every false interpretation of the divine word.... They must also try to change the lethargy of souls into an eager observation of those who approach them. The beings of light exert their influence on the imperfect being as long as it does not stubbornly resist. The lightless being's hardship and agony will always find the compassionate love of the beings of light, i.e. the love of these beings will always be willing to help them. However, resistance prevents the beings of light from approaching lovingly, thus the imperfect beings forfeit their own assistance if they reject it. Redeeming activity has then become an impossibility for the beings of light. Nevertheless they do not let up in their endeavours insofar as that they pay attention to every impulse in which the being is accessible to a ray of light, and they use such impulse for renewed work of love. But since love is an incomparably stronger weapon in the battle for the beings, countless beings are wrested from darkness and brought to the kingdom of light, for love is able to accomplish extraordinary things and only the rejecting will, i.e. the conscious submission to the will of the dark power, eliminates the activity of love of those beings of light. The battle of light against darkness lasts forever, yet the kingdom of light is constantly expanding while the kingdom of darkness is diminishing in size and power....
