L’agire dello Spirito divino richiede una fede senza dubbi, perché l’Agire dello Spirito divino è l’Afflusso della Forza di Dio, che comprensibilmente non può mai essere conferita ad un uomo che non è pienamente credente. Quello che lo Spirito di Dio trasmette all’uomo, sovente non è afferrabile dall’intelletto umano. Ma la fede afferma tutto, anche quando l’intelletto non lo afferra. Ma se Dio Si annuncia tramite lo Spirito, allora Egli vuole anche che ciò che Egli dà, venga accolto nella fede, perché il Suo Dono è troppo delizioso da poter andare anche a coloro che sono deboli nella fede, quindi che dubiterebbero della Verità divina. All’uomo credente nulla appare impossibile, nulla di inafferrabile e nulla di ineseguibile, di conseguenza accetta ogni istruzione, senza mettere in dubbio la sua Veridicità. Ma la malafede mette delle barriere; colui che sta nella malafede farà sempre delle obiezioni, perché non conosce l’Agire dello Spirito nell’uomo, perché non sa nulla e perché finora giudica secondo il suo intelletto mondano, perché il miscredente non potrà mai ricevere direttamente la Verità, ma gli deve essere trasmessa. Di conseguenza egli rigetterà la trasmissione di colui che lascia agire in sé lo Spirito di Dio, perché non può credere, perché non è ancora ricettivo per la Verità divina. La fede deve essere forte, soltanto allora l’uomo si forma in modo da subordinarsi a Dio nella più profonda umiltà. Egli deve credere in Dio, soltanto allora si sforzerà di vivere nel modo come compiace a Dio. Per adempiere la Volontà di un Potere, il Potere Stesso deve dapprima essere riconosciuto, e questa è fede. Nell’uomo si trova la tendenza alla contraddizione, ed egli contraddirà così a lungo, finché non si risveglia in lui stesso la scintilla spirituale, ed ora questa gli dà il chiarimento ed in Verità nello stesso modo, perché lo Spirito di Dio non può altro che annunciare la Verità. L’uomo credente riconosce la Verità come tale, ma il miscredente è convinto che gli venga offerta la Non-Verità e la rifiuta. Ma egli non ha nemmeno il desiderio per la Verità, altrimenti in lui non sarebbe così grande la volontà del rifiuto, perché poter-credere è soltanto la conseguenza del voler-credere. Se l’uomo vuole arrivare alla conoscenza e gli è difficile credere, allora l’Amore di Dio si sforza inarrestabilmente per lui, perché la sua volontà è determinante. Egli viene istruito mentalmente, e mentalmente gli vengono apportate molte Sapienze, che lui esamina sempre di nuovo, e la sua volontà del rifiuto diventa sempre più debole. Anche questo è un Agire dello Spirito, soltanto in altra forma diversa dalla trasmissione diretta delle Sapienze di Dio, che premettono una piena fede. Ma la volontà per la Verità è già un’affermazione dell’eterna Divinità, quindi una fede inconscia, e Dio l’aumenta e la fortifica, appena l’uomo è seriamente intenzionato. Se ora a quell’uomo vengono apportate le dirette Manifestazioni dello Spirito, non si predisporrà comunque subito in modo affermativo, ma saranno motivo per lui di riflettere. Ed egli riconoscerà che ciò che gli è offerto non devia dal suo bene mentale, riconoscerà la sintonia di ciò che gli giungeva mentalmente e di ciò che ora gli viene trasmesso. E così impara a credere, perché voleva credere, perché egli stesso tende inconsciamente verso Dio. E Dio non lo lascia tendere inutilmente, Dio Si lascia trovare quando viene cercato, ed a costui viene incontro Lui Stesso nella forma della Verità, che ora riconoscerà come tale. La Forza di Dio affluisce inarrestabilmente all’uomo e lo Spirito di Dio agisce inarrestabilmente in quegli uomini che si formano di conseguenza, affinché Egli possa agire in loro, perché Dio vuole diffondere la Verità, Egli vuole strappare gli uomini dall’oscurità, e dove opera lo Spirito di Dio, quivi è Luce e Chiarezza.

Divine spiritual activity requires undoubted faith, because divine spiritual activity is the influx of power from God, which understandably can never be granted to a person who is not a full believer. What the spirit from God imparts to man is often incomprehensible to the human mind. Faith, however, affirms everything, even if the intellect cannot grasp it. But if God makes Himself known through the spirit, then He also wants what He gives to be accepted in faith, for His gift is too precious to be given to those who are weak in faith and would therefore doubt the divine truth. To the believer nothing seems impossible, nothing incomprehensible and nothing impracticable, consequently he accepts every teaching without doubting its truthfulness. Unbelief, however, sets limits; he who stands in unbelief will always raise objections because he does not know the working of the spirit in man, because he knows nothing and because he judges according to his worldly understanding. For the unbeliever will never be able to receive the truth directly, but it must be conveyed to him. Consequently, because he cannot believe, he will reject the communication of the one who allows the spirit from God to work in him, for he is not yet capable of receiving divine truth. Faith must be strong, only then will the human being become such that he submits himself to God in deepest humility. He must believe in God, only then will he endeavour to live in a way that pleases Him. In order to fulfil the will of a power, the power must first be acknowledged, and this is faith.... The human being is inclined to contradict, and he will continue to contradict until the spark of the spirit awakens in him, and then it will enlighten him, and truly in the same way, for the spirit from God cannot proclaim anything other than truth....

(18.11.1941) The believing person recognizes the truth as such, but the unbeliever is convinced that he is being offered untruth and he rejects it. But he also does not have the desire for the truth, otherwise the will to reject would not be so great in him, for the ability to believe is only the consequence of the will to believe. If the human being wants to come to knowledge and finds it difficult to believe, God's love constantly endeavours to help him because his will is decisive. He is mentally instructed, and mentally many wisdoms are brought to him, which he examines again and again, and his will to reject becomes weaker and weaker. This is also an activity of the spirit, only in a different form than the direct communication of wisdom from God, which presupposes full faith. Yet the will for truth is already an affirmation of the eternal deity, thus an unconscious faith, and God increases and strengthens this as soon as the human being is serious about it. If the direct expressions of the spirit are now made accessible to that person he will not immediately affirm them but they will give him cause for reflection. And he will recognize that what is offered to him does not deviate from his thoughts, he will recognize the harmony of what he received mentally and what is now conveyed to him. And thus he learns to believe because he wanted to believe, for he himself unconsciously strives towards God. And God does not let him strive in vain, God lets Himself be found when He is sought and comes to meet him Himself in the form of truth, which he will now recognize as such. The strength from God constantly flows to people and the spirit of God constantly works in those people who shape themselves accordingly so that He can work in them, for God wants to spread the truth, He wants to snatch people from spiritual darkness, and where the spirit of God is at work there is light and brightness....
