Pourquoi la prière est si nécessaire

La tendance des hommes est actuellement seulement pour la matière et cela signifie un arrêt du développement spirituel. Il existe le danger que l'homme recule dans son développement s’il n'arrive pas à reconnaître son état insuffisant, parce que l'adversaire de Dieu cherche à tirer vers le bas les âmes pour les conquérir entièrement pour lui. Et plus cela lui réussit, plus il est difficile de lui échapper et de se tourner vers le Haut. La volonté de l'homme est affaiblie et peut changer seulement avec le Soutien de Dieu, qui exige absolument de L'invoquer pour le Soutien. Et avec cela la prière est la première et la plus importante chose. Tant que l'homme est encore en mesure de prier il n'est pas définitivement perdu, parce que chaque invocation pour la Force dans la misère spirituelle sera satisfaite, et lorsque l'homme ne reconnaît plus la misère spirituelle dans laquelle il se trouve, c’est également l’action de l'adversaire, et il laisse inaperçue la Grâce de la prière, il sera alors guidé par Dieu dans les situations qui lui feront reconnaître son impuissance dans les misères terrestres, pour que maintenant il se refugie dans la prière et invoque Dieu dans sa misère. Il est toujours prêt pour l'aider, Il ne refuse Son Soutien à aucun demandeur, Il donne la Force au faible et adoucit toute misère, mais Il veut que son Aide soit désirée consciemment ; Il veut que l'homme en tant que demandeur vienne à Lui, parce que cela signifie qu’il reconnait son absence de pouvoir et de force, et cela Dieu doit l’exiger de l'être qui autrefois s'est détourné de Lui dans son arrogance, il doit prendre conscience de la Force de Celui de Qui il a reçu sa force. L'être doit de nouveau devenir recevant de Force comme il l’était au début, il doit agir avec Dieu et non contre Dieu et donc il doit d’abord reconnaître que sans l'Amour de Dieu il est un être totalement sans défense pour être incité à suivre de nouveau Dieu dont il s'est éloigné dans la libre volonté. L'unification avec Dieu doit donc de nouveau avoir lieu dans la libre volonté et donc à l'être il ne peut pas être donné la force contre sa volonté. Il doit exprimer sa volonté à travers la prière, au moyen du désir pour l'apport de Force que Dieu accorde en tout temps, parce qu'Il veut seulement être reconnu comme Donateur de Force et que l'être renonce à sa résistance d'un temps et qu’il cherche à s'unir avec Dieu avec toute sa volonté pour pouvoir maintenant être compénétré de la Force de Dieu et donc devenir de nouveau apte à recevoir la Force comme cela était sa destination primordiale.

Why prayer is necessary....

People's endeavours at present only apply to matter, and this means a standstill of spiritual development. There is a danger that the human being will regress if he will not come to recognise his state of poverty, for God's adversary is trying to pull the souls down in order to win them for himself completely. And the more he succeeds the harder it becomes to escape from him again and turn towards higher spheres. The human being's will is weakened and can only change with God's help, which categorically requires calling upon Him for help. And this makes prayer therefore the first and most important requirement.... As long as the human being is still able to pray he is not hopelessly lost, since every call for strength in spiritual adversity will be answered, and if the human being can no longer recognise the spiritual adversity he is in, which is also due to the adversary's influence, and thus ignores the blessing of prayer, he will then be led by God into situations which will make him realise his own helplessness in earthly difficulties, so that he will then take his refuge in prayer and call upon God in his adversity. He is always ready to help, He will not deny His support to any petitioner, He gives strength to the weak and alleviates every adversity, but He wants that His help shall be consciously desired; He wants the human being to come to Him as a petitioner, because this is the admission of his lack of power and strength, which God has to demand of the being which had once, in arrogance, in conscious awareness of its power, turned away from the One from Whom it had received its strength.

The being shall become a recipient of strength again as it had been in the very beginning, nevertheless it shall work with and not in opposition to God, and therefore it first has to realise that it is an utterly weak being without God's love, in order to motivate it to join God again, from Whom it had voluntarily distanced itself. Therefore the unity with God has to take place in free will again, and therefore the being cannot be given strength against its will. But it is expressing its will through prayer, through the desire to be given strength, which God will always fulfil. For He only wants to be acknowledged as the Giver of strength and that the being abandons its former resistance through prayer and willingly seeks to unite with God again, so that it then can be permeated by God's strength and thus become a recipient of strength once more, as it was originally destined to be....
