Pobres almas. Arrepentimiento

Cuando vosotros los hombres habéis dejado la Tierra atrás y habéis entrado en el Reino espiritual, tan pronto que os esté dado el recuerdo sobre el tiempo infinito antes de vuestra encarnación como hombre, entonces todo vuestro camino por la Tierra no os parecerá más que un solo instante... y reconoceréis también la gran Gracia que el último estado de vuestro desarrollo significaba para vuestra alma... y reconoceréis que benditos son todos aquellos que han aprovechado de esta Gracia, lo que les ha facilitado la entrada de la Luz... pues ellos no tienen que hacerse reproches de haber desaprovechado de la Gracia de su vida en la Tierra.

Sabed que el arrepentimiento en el Más Allá resulta doble de angustioso cuando el alma se da cuenta que no puede subsanar nada de lo que en la Tierra había errado o omitido... cuando el alma reconoce los inimaginables tormentos que implica el camino de la migración8 por la Tierra... y cuando se entera de lo fácil que, en cambio, resulta el corto período de vida como hombre, y aun así no lo ha valorado correspondientemente.

El arrepentimiento por una vida terrenal vivida equivocadamente es tan atormentador y agobiante para el alma que ya por eso está expiando - por lo que su estado fatal aún empeora; pero ahora la vida terrenal con sus facilidades para madurar ya se acabó y, conforme a su conducta en la Tierra, el alma tiene que cargar con las consecuencias.

Ahora tiene que continuar con su proceso de desarrollo en el Más Allá. Pero si la entrada en el Reino de Luz todavía le está negada, será bajo dificultades mucho mayores que en la Tierra.

Vosotros los hombres no tenéis idea de la miseria en que se encuentra un alma que todavía se halla en tinieblas, y del amor que necesita para ser socorrida. Todos vosotros debéis tener misericordia de tales almas, les debéis dar amor porque de lo contrario nunca encontrarán salvación; pues ellas solas están demasiado débiles, y como únicamente el amor les da fuerza, estas almas esperan que los hombres se lo den, y por eso se lo piden...

Porque lo espiritual lúcido sólo puede asistir a estas almas cuando estas están dispuestas a ayudar también a otras almas. Pero para que en ellas surja esta voluntad de ayudar hay que fortalecer su voluntad - y esto sólo puede efectuar la fuerza que les llega mediante el amor de los hombres en la Tierra.

Almas no redimidas -es decir, las que no han aprovechado bien de su vida en la Tierra o las que allí han vivido totalmente sin la menor aspiración espiritual- se encuentran en grandes apuros porque carecen completamente de fuerza, y su voluntad es totalmente debilitada. Socorrer a estas almas es la mayor obra de amor que el hombre puede realizar.

Que continuamente rece para estas almas... que les mande sus pensamientos en que las avisa que deben actuar en el amor, también en el Más Allá... que cada vez de nuevo les predique el amor... que en sus pensamientos hable con ellas y les transmita fuerza mediante su amor. Esto resulta agradable para las almas porque alivia sus sufrimientos.

A los hombres que mediante su ayuda amorosa liberan a estas almas de su estado angustioso, estas se lo agradecerán eternamente. En la medida en que puedan, también ellas participan en la obra de la Redención... mientras puedan ayudar a otras almas a disminuir sus penas haciéndoles llegar un saber espiritual - un saber que ellas mismas antes tienen que adquirir.

Por ser dispuestas a ayudar, sus mayores tormentos ya se han disuelto y su arrepentimiento sigue disipándose en la misma medida en que su voluntad para ayudar aumenta. Porque ahora reconoce que la necesitan en el Reino espiritual, con lo que su propio celo hace que se olvide de su propia pena... aspira a acumular bienes espirituales para luego poder repartirlos; pues se ha creado un nuevo campo de actividad y ahora procura a recuperar lo que en la Tierra había omitido: dar amor...

Ahora continúa en su camino de desarrollo en el Reino espiritual, gracias a los pensamientos de amor que los hombres en la Tierra les dedicaron - por lo que les estará agradecida eternamente.

Needy souls.... Remorse.... Loving help....

When you humans have concluded your earthly life and entered the spiritual realm, the time of your earthly life will appear like a mere moment as soon as the memory of the infinitely long time before your embodiment as a human being is returned to you. And then you will also understand that the last stage of your soul’s development has been an great mercy, and anyone who has used it and achieved admission into the spiritual realm, anyone who need not reproach himself for having allowed the graces of earthly life pass him by, is blessed. The remorse in the beyond is all the more painful when the soul realises that it is no longer able to put right what it had avoided or neglected on earth, when the soul becomes aware of the inconceivable suffering of the infinitely long earthly path and how easy the short life as a human being had been in comparison, which it did not value correctly.... The soul’s regret of a wrongly lived earthly life is so agonising and depressing that this in itself causes the soul to do penance and worsens its painful situation; yet physical life with its many opportunities to mature is over now and the soul has to accept the consequences of its earthly way of life. It has to continue its process of development in the beyond but with far more difficulties than on earth as long as it is not allowed to enter the realm of light.

You humans do not know the distress of such a soul in darkness and the merciful love it requires to receive help. You all should have compassion on such souls, you should think of them with love or they can never be redeemed because they are too weak without help, because only love will give them strength and the souls hope and ask for this love from people.... since the spirits of light can only help these souls when they are willing to help other souls. But in order to awaken this willingness to help their will has to be strengthened, and only the strength given to them by people’s love on earth can achieve that. Lost souls, i.e. those who have not used their earthly life correctly or who lived entirely without spiritual aspiration on earth are in greatest need because they have no strength whatsoever and entirely depleted willpower. To help these souls is one of the greatest works of love which the human being can perform. He should constantly pray for such souls, he should mentally inform them that they ought to act with kindness even in the beyond, time and again he should urge them to love, he should mentally communicate with them and with his love give them strength, which is comforting to the soul as it alleviates its state of suffering. And the souls will be eternally grateful to people whose loving help will release them from their agonising situation as soon as they can take part in the redemption work themselves, as soon as they can reduce the suffering of other souls by bringing them spiritual knowledge which, however, they first have to acquire themselves.

Due to their will to help their greatest need is remedied and their remorse will lessen at the same rate as their willingness to help grows. For then the soul understands that it is needed in the spiritual realm and in its enthusiasm forgets its own suffering.... It strives to gather spiritual values in order to share them again; it has created for itself a new sphere of activity and tries to make up for what it had neglected to do on earth.... to give love.... And now it can continue its process of development in the spiritual realm, thanks to the help of people’s loving thoughts on earth for which it will be eternally grateful....
