“Venid a Mí todos....”

Exigid la fuerza de Dios si estáis cansados y agobiados. Él también os ha hecho esta promesa de que quiere refrescaros si os refugiáis en Él y Le confiáis todas vuestras preocupaciones. Él es el consolador de todos los afligidos, el Padre de todos los huérfanos, Él es vuestro amigo, hermano y ayudante en toda la dificultad: “Venid a Mí todos que estáis cansados y agobiados; Yo os aliviaré....” Sus Palabras son consoladoras si creéis profundamente. Y no importa en qué problema os encontráis, vosotros conocéis a Alguien Que os ayudará a llevarlo, Que siempre está dispuesto para quitároslo tan pronto como creáis en Él. La vida en la Tierra sería mucho más fácil para los humanos si cumplieran la promesa de Jesús, pero generalmente carecen de fe, de lo contrario Le presentarían con confianzas todas sus preocupaciones y Le pedirían ayuda.

¿Qué poco uso hacéis de la fuerza de la oración, y qué poco hacéis de la gracia de la promesa divina? Todo lo que os pesa pierde sentido en cuanto se lo confiáis a Él para que os ayude a llevarlo. Y Él no dejará que vuestra oración quede sin ser escuchada, porque Sus Palabras son verdad: “Quiero refrescaros....” Él os dará la fuerza, pase lo que pase, para que podáis dominarlo todo y vuestro corazón se vuelva libre y ligero. Pero mientras el ser humano carezca de confianza en Su voluntad de ayudar, en Su amor, que Dios extiende a todos los oprimidos y entristecidos, tampoco acudirá ante Él en oración ni obtendrá la fuerza que Dios le ha prometido. Y su camino terrenal es mucho más difícil y doloroso. No busca la conexión con Dios, Quien es el Único que puede ayudarlo en cada necesidad, y la promesa de Jesús nunca podrá cumplirse en él....

"Come to Me, all of you...." promise of Jesus....

Seek strength from God when you are weary and burdened. He has also given you this promise, that He will refresh you if you take refuge in Him and bring all your troubles to His heart. He is the comforter of all who are afflicted, the father of all orphans, He is your friend and brother and helper in every need. "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest...." His words are comforting if only you have deep faith. And whatever hardship you find yourselves in, you know of one Who will help you carry it, Who is always ready to take it off your hands as soon as you believe in Him. People's earthly life would be much easier if they kept Jesus' promise, yet they usually lack faith or they would trustingly present all their worries to Him and ask Him for help. How little you use the power of prayer and how little you make use of the grace of the divine promise. Everything that weighs you down loses its significance as soon as you lay it on His heart so that He may help you carry it. And He will not leave your prayer unanswered, for His words are truth: "I will refresh you...." He will give you the strength, whatever comes upon you, so that you can master everything and your heart will become free and light. Yet as long as a person lacks trust in His willingness to help, in His love, which God bestows upon all the oppressed and afflicted, he will not come before Him in prayer and obtain the strength God has promised him. And his path on earth is much more difficult and painful. He does not seek contact with God, Who alone can help him in every need, and Jesus' promise can never be fulfilled in him....
