La lucha del espíritu con el cuerpo por la supremacía sobre el alma....
Cada ser anhela su liberación, porque el estado no libre es una tortura para todo lo espiritual. Pero en la encarnación como ser humano, lo espiritual siente su falta de libertad, pero no el cuerpo y no el alma. El alma es igualmente al principio inconsciente de su condición, y en consecuencia sólo escucha los deseos del cuerpo.
Pero el cuerpo se siente libre, y tanto más libre cuanto más puede tener en cuenta el mundo, es decir, los placeres terrenales, y por lo tanto apenas impone inhibiciones al cuerpo. Entonces el alma cede a los impulsos del cuerpo y el espíritu pasa desapercibido. Y así, lo espiritual en el hombre tiene que soportar el estado desterrado hasta que le llegue ayuda del alma. Porque sólo el alma puede ayudarlo pensando más en el espíritu que en el cuerpo.
Y es precisamente por eso que la existencia terrenal es el mayor peligro para el alma, aunque se supone que trae la liberación al espíritu, mientras no se haya liberado todavía de los deseos del cuerpo. En consecuencia, el cuerpo lucha con el espíritu por la supremacía sobre el alma....y esto equivale a la lucha de la luz con la oscuridad.... los seres de la luz luchan contra los poderes de las tinieblas por el alma.... por lo espiritual que ha apartado de Dios y todavía no se ha dado cuento por completo de que pertenece a la Luz Eterna.... a la Deidad.
Si el alma ha alcanzado el conocimiento, se volverá voluntariamente a Dios. Pero los poderes oscuros usan todos los medios para evitar que el alma adquiera conocimiento. Y el cuerpo será el mayor obstáculo para que el alma se vuelva hacia el espíritu. Mientras el cuerpo esté todavía en primer plano, hay pocas posibilidades de que el alma tome conciencia, de llegar a darse cuenta de su situación.... es decir, su distancia de Dios.... Solo cuando ya no presta atención a las demandas del cuerpo, comienza a pensar en el verdadero propósito de la vida terrenal. Sólo entonces el adversario pierde poder; las fuerzas oscuras ya no tienen tanta influencia en el alma.... Se aleja del cuerpo y se vuelve al espíritu en sí, y una vez que se haya establecido este vínculo, se vuelve brillante y clara en ella.... Por lo que el espíritu ha triunfado en ella y ha ganado el dominio sobre el alma que ahora se une completamente con el espíritu y ahora la liberación del ser es la consecuencia inevitable de esto.
Pero la lucha es indescriptiblemente difícil y exige el pleno compromiso de todos los buenos poderes, así como la voluntad humana, la única que produce la decisión del alma. Sólo la voluntad del ser humano es decisiva en cuanto a dónde se dirige el alma.... la voluntad humana puede decidirse por el cuerpo, pero también por el espíritu, pero sólo este último traerá al ser la liberación final de la forma.... amén

Struggle of the spirit with the body for supremacy over the soul....
Every being longs to become free because the unfree state is agonizing for all spiritual beings. But in the embodiment as a human being the spiritual certainly feels its lack of freedom, but not the body and the soul. The soul is likewise initially without realization of its situation and consequently only listens to the body's desires. The body, however, feels free, and indeed the freer the more it can take the world, i.e. earthly pleasures, into account and therefore hardly imposes any restraints on the body. Thus the soul yields to the body's urging and the spirit remains unheeded. And so the spiritual in man must endure the banished state until help comes from the soul. For only the soul can help it by thinking more of the spirit within itself than of the body. And that is why being on earth, although it is supposed to bring liberation to the spirit, is the greatest danger for the soul as long as it has not yet freed itself from the desires of the body. Consequently, the body fights with the spirit for supremacy over the soul.... And this is the struggle of light with darkness.... The beings of light wrestle with the powers of darkness for the soul.... for the spiritual that has distanced itself from God and is not yet fully aware of it that it belongs to the eternal light.... to the deity.... Provided the soul has attained realization, it will voluntarily turn to God. The dark forces, however, prevent the soul from attaining realization by all means. And the body will be the greatest obstacle for the soul to turn to the spirit. As long as the body is still placed in the foreground there is little possibility for the soul to become aware that it comes to the realization of its situation.... i.e. its distance from God.... Only when it no longer pays attention to the demands of the body does it begin to think about the actual purpose of life on earth. Only then does the adversary lose power; the dark forces no longer have so much influence on the soul.... It turns away from the body and towards the spirit within, and once this bond is established, it becomes bright and clear within.... Thus the spirit within it has triumphed and gained dominion over the soul, which is now completely united with the spirit and the inevitable consequence of this is the liberation of the being. Yet the battle is unspeakably difficult and requires the full commitment of all good forces as well as the human will, which alone brings about the soul's decision. The will of the human being alone is decisive as to where the soul turns.... the will can decide in favour of the body, but also in favour of the spirit, but only the latter will bring the being final liberation from the form....
