Falta de autoconocimiento.... Amor propio.... Terquedad

Presta atención a las palabras que te llegan hoy: el estado más amargo de la vida es preparado por los hombres mismos que se encuentran en una autodestrucción perpetua y que no suplican la gracia de Dios, a través de la cual se liberarían de la presión que les agobia. Estas personas siempre ven su propia situación tan deplorable y se pierden cada vez más en sentimientos sombríos y, en última instancia, todo su ser es solo uno que es infinitamente amargo, y eso sin razón real.

Su amor propio se ha desarrollado demasiado fuerte para poder superarse, y ven mucho más la plenitud de la vida en la suerte de otras personas, por lo que una evaluación justa siempre sigue siendo algo extraño a esas personas. Rechazan todos los motivos y tienen una vida mucho más difícil debido a su propia terquedad, porque la buena voluntad les haría la vida mucho más fácil de dominar.

La vida misma es tan instructiva y da muchos indicios, si se aprovecha adecuadamente si uno se refugia en toda depresión emocional para obrar en amor. Entonces se crea el equilibrio, por así decirlo, y el corazón se vuelve feliz.... Y cuando la persona misma se deja a un lado, todo lo que es difícil se desvanece de la persona por si solo y encuentra la plenitud de la vida en el obrar para los demás. El propósito de la vida sigue siendo la maduración espiritual de uno mismo, una renuncia a la satisfacción de los propios deseos y un servicio voluntario constante.

Cuanto más se pueda subordinarse una persona, más libre será su estado mental, y cuanto más practique superarse a sí misma, más fuerte será su voluntad, y este trabajo sobre sí mismo produce en refinamiento de todo el ser, entonces sólo tendrá en cuenta el bienestar del semejante y se elimina el estado doloroso que atormenta a la persona.... Y esto se logra con la voluntad de actuar.... Es significativamente más fácil vencer al mundo que a sí mismo....

El hombre no quiere admitir de ser el causador de su condición, siempre busca la causa en otra parte que no sea él mismo, y ese es su error.... Donde hay falta de autoconocimiento, la ayuda es difícil de traer.... porque, ¿Dónde debería entonces aplicarse la palanca?.... Aquel que solo quiere criticar a los demás, pero nunca contra sí mismo, difícilmente reconocerá el mal básico, solo se sentirá lamentable y no tendrá la voluntad de terminar su condición, que lo oprime tanto.

Y así, sólo hay una cosa que tenga un efecto en esa mente.... Llamar la atención sobre ella con todo amor sobre su actitud equivocada hacia la vida, que la persona debe dominar por sí misma y no dejarse dominar por ella, lo cual es siempre el caso cuando sufre la presión de su estado de ánimo y no puede encontrar una salida. Donde hay voluntad, también hay obra, y solo esto libera al hombre de todo mal....

Their self-love is too strongly developed to overcome themselves, and they are much more likely to see the fulfilment of life in the fate of other people, and so a just judgement always remains something alien to these people. They reject all rational reasons and thus have a much more difficult life due to their own stubbornness, because good will would allow them to master life much more easily. Life itself is so instructive and provides so much guidance, if only it is utilized in the right way and people take refuge in working in love in all emotional distress. The balance is then created, as it were, and the heart becomes glad.... And when one's own person is put aside, all heaviness falls away from the person of its own accord and he finds the fulfilment of life in working for others. The purpose of life is only ever the maturing of oneself, a renunciation of the fulfilment of one's own desires and a perpetual willingness to serve. The more a person can subordinate himself, the freer his spiritual state will become, and the more often he practices self-conquest, the stronger his will will become, and this work on himself will bring about an ennoblement of the whole being, only the well-being of his fellow human being will then ever be taken into consideration, and the painful state which torments the human being will be remedied.... And this is brought about by the will to act.... it is much easier to defeat the world than oneself.... Man does not want to admit that he is the author of his condition, he always looks for the cause elsewhere than in himself, and that is his fault.... Where self-knowledge is lacking, help is hard to come by.... because then where should the lever be applied.... Those who only want to criticize others, but never themselves, will hardly recognize the basic evil, they will only ever find themselves pitiable and will not muster the will to put an end to their condition, which is nevertheless depressing. And so there is only one thing that has the right effect on such a mind.... to lovingly draw its attention to its wrong attitude towards life, which man should master himself and not allow himself to be mastered by it, which is the case every time he suffers under the pressure of his mood and cannot find a way out. Where there is the will, there is also the deed, and only this frees man from all evil....
