La suerte en el Más Allá de las almas obstinadas
En graves apuros se encuentran las almas de todos aquellos que dejaron la Tierra atrás sin haber establecido contacto con el Padre Celestial. No saben qué hacer y se atormentan con reproches y pensamientos sombríos. Se rebelan contra su suerte y no quieren reconocer que ellos mismos son culpables de tan deplorable estado.
Cuanto más sumisamente acepta el alma su estado de sufrimiento, tanto más pronto tiene la posibilidad de liberarse de él, pues en cuanto los espíritus más elevados notan la menor tendencia positiva en ella, procuran aliviarla dándole los consejos necesarios para que pueda mejorar su situación.
Y otra vez depende únicamente de la buena voluntad del alma misma hacer caso o no a estas advertencias. Pero cuando impera la propia voluntad obstinada, incluso los esfuerzos de estos amigos espirituales tan dispuestos serán infructuosos y el alma recaerá en su antiguo estado de depresión, un estado del que le costará mucho librarse mientras luche constantemente contra todo lo bueno y digno porque, en su terquedad, no lo reconoce como tal. Alguien que esté en una noche oscura puede hacerse una idea aproximada acerca de la suerte de estas pobres almas. El miedo y la angustia las atormentan de manera casi insoportable.... Buscan la luz y no pueden encontrarla.... La cercanía de la Tierra las retiene y por ello se mantienen sobre todo allí donde vivieron encarnados pues esperan que desde allí les pueda llegar auxilio de sus seres queridos que todavía continúan en la Tierra.... Y, frecuentemente, ni siquiera llegan a la conclusión que hace mucho que ya han dejado la Tierra atrás....
Están decepcionadas porque todos sus esfuerzos resultan vanos y los hombres no les hacen caso. Sólo después de mucho tiempo se dan cuenta que sus pretensiones son absurdas. Las que sacan provecho de esta experiencia, las que vuelven en sí y se proponen firmemente hacer todo lo posible para salir de ese estado tan lamentable con la ayuda de los seres espirituales y las enseñanzas que estos les dan, pronto llegarán a conocer las medidas que tienen que tomar. Una vez que estas almas hayan descubierto esas relaciones, acudirán a todas partes donde haya comunicaciones desde el Más Allá y escucharán todas las enseñanzas. Por eso también tu trabajo espiritual resulta una gran bendición para ellas.

The souls of those who have left the valley of the earth without having established a connection with the heavenly father are in great distress. They know neither the end nor the beginning and torment themselves with self-reproach and bad thoughts. They rebel against their fate and do not want to admit to themselves that they themselves are to blame for this sad state. The more devotedly the soul resigns itself to its state of suffering, the more likely it is to be liberated from it, for the higher spiritual beings perceive the slightest good impulse and try to bring relief to the soul by giving it the necessary advice to improve its situation. And again, it is only up to the good will of the suffering soul to make use of these admonitions and hints.... However, where its own will is too strong, the efforts of these spiritual friends who are willing to love and help will also be in vain and the soul will fall back into its old oppressive state and will not be able to free itself from it for a long time, as it is still fighting against everything good and noble which it does not recognize as such in its stubbornness. Anyone who dwells in the darkest night will be able to roughly comprehend the fate of these poor.... fear and horror torment them, and their minds darken to the point of unbearability.... They seek light and cannot find it.... Proximity to the earth holds them fast, and they mainly stay where they stayed in earthly life.... For they first hope for help where those close to them dwell, for they are often still without realizing that they have long since left earth. They are only bitter that all their efforts are without success and that people do not pay attention to their need, and only after a long time do they realize the impossibility of their desire. And anyone who now derives the right benefit from this realization.... anyone who goes within himself and firmly resolves to do everything in order to be liberated from the unhappy state will also soon learn the ways and means through the instruction of the spiritual friends in the beyond or also by participating in the teachings offered from the beyond to earthly children who are faithful and of good will. Once the soul has discovered such a connection, it can no longer be removed from the vicinity of such earthly children.... It accepts all teachings with a real hunger and is now grateful for the advice it utilizes in every way. And so it is truly blessed hours for countless souls in the beyond when you devote yourself to your spiritual work.... For they suffer so unspeakably without your help and the path to the light is much more difficult for them to reach.... however, in a short time they can make up for infinitely much of what they neglected to do in earthly life through their own fault, and thus they become increasingly more knowledgeable and follow all admonitions most eagerly the more they realize that it is in their own hands to make their state bearable and later extremely happy. And thus they, too, are only ever anxious to make use of all instructions which are conveyed to you from the beyond, and their concern is likewise for your inner state of soul and your will, which can also bring them deliverance from their suffering and torment....
