Separación de la materia.... Arrogancia.... Conciencia de la debilidad....

Es una ventaja in admisible si toda la inclinación por la materia en el hombre será sofocada, si la mente se puede liberarse de ella y así puede emprender el vuelo hacia lo infinito sin obstáculos. El mundo sostiene el alma en la tierra con grilletes de hierro, y solo una voluntad fuerte logra aflojar esos grilletes, y si ahora durante la estancia terrenal no queda fuerza y el hombre se deja llevar por la tormenta de la pasión, los acontecimientos del mundo se desatan.... entonces el espíritu nunca podrá elevarse libremente y elevarse por encima de la esfera terrestre, sino que será mantenido cautivo.... Solo el cuerpo llega a su derecho con su deseo de realización mundana, pero el alma es mal cuidado.... el alma está vegetando y sufre indescriptiblemente de no poder desarrollarse y permitirla de perseguir su liberación de la materia.

En el umbral de la muerte, a menudo cae como escamas de los ojos del hombre y se da cuenta de la magnitud de su culpa lo que conlleva una agonía indescriptible en el más allá. El alma de Dios siempre permanece igual en su esencia, solo se ha alejado del camino del reconocimiento.... Se ha convertido en una víctima de su arrogancia y solo puede volver hacia arriba de la manera opuesta.... por el reconocimiento de su debilidad y el fuerte deseo de ser acogido nuevamente por Dios en el amor.

Esto es más fácil de lograr en la tierra como una criatura terrenal débil, porque la conciencia de su debilidad e insuficiencia hace que el alma se acerque humildemente y suplicando al Creador.

Pero si, en cambio, la existencia terrenal nuevamente produce un ser arrogante que no quiere someterse humildemente a Su Creador, la transformación extremadamente difícil de esta alma ahora debe realizarse en el más allá y, por lo tanto, allí los sufrimientos con el propósito de purificación serán mucho más dolorosos que en la tierra, y antes de que tal alma sea desintoxicada de todas las impurezas, a menudo lleva mucho tiempo y alguna alma se ahorra un gran sufrimiento si se esfuerza ya en la tierra para llegar al estado de madurez....

At the threshold of death, the scales often fall from a person's eyes and he realizes the extent of his guilt, which entails unspeakable torment in the afterlife. The soul from God always remains the same in its essence, it has only fallen away from the path of knowledge.... it has, as it were, fallen victim to arrogance and can only ascend again in the opposite way.... through the recognition of its weakness and the strong desire to be received again by God in love. This is most likely to be achieved on earth as a weak earthly creature, because the awareness of its weakness and inadequacy allows it to approach the creator humbly and pleadingly.... But if, instead, earthly existence again produces an arrogant being which does not want to humbly submit to its creator, then the extremely difficult transformation of this soul must now be brought about in the beyond and the suffering for the purpose of purification will therefore be far more painful there than on earth, and before such a soul is purged of all impurity, a very long time often passes and many a soul is spared great suffering until (if) it allows itself to reach the state of maturity on earth....
