Retiro de la iglesía madre

La mayor necedad en la vida se comete, si los hombres se retiran de su iglesia, a la que pertenecen. No son condiciones muy favorables en la que actualmente se eneuentran los clérigos. Ellos hacen todo lo posible, para que la iglesía conserve a sus ovejitas, y sin embargo, se apartan una tras la otra y frecuentemente no encuentran ya más el camino de vuelta. Es inigualablemente difícil entonces influenciar en tales renegados, (en sus almas), pero que es el oficio, y ha de ser el de cada sacerdote.

Ahora pone el Señor el don de ensenanza en la mano de siervos elegidos por El; no para expulsar o desalojar a los clérigos de sus puestos, sino para ayudarlos, a los que se encuentran fuera de la iglesía, y lleguen también a la bendición de la Palabra de Dios. ¿ Pero quien oye y acepta la Palabra?

Para los que voluntariamente se han separado de la iglesia es indeciblemente difícil someterse a los preceptos de Dios. No es que ese no tuvíera la posibilidad de ir a por el buen camino. Si su corazón le prescribe aquello que le es agradable al Señor y signe él esa voz, pronto alcanza ese nivel que le puede conducir más arriba, pero generalmente eso no quieren los hombres que se separan de su iglesía madre, pues no quieren oír por lo general nada de cosas espirituales. Niegan todo y están por lo tanto en una situación en la que amenaza un extremo peligro, entregándose ellos mismos a fuerzas malignas, puesto que han perdido toda clase de apoyo moral que era la iglesía para ellos todovía y están más bien inclinados a ser incrédulos por completo, toda la orientación de su pensamiento, va sólo dirigida al presente, negando la continuación de la vida después de la muerte, y eso es por lo general el motivo del sapararse de su religión tenida hasta ahora. Dejad que estos hombres caígan una vez en apuros grandes, entonces no saben que hacer ... buscan a su Dios, y no saben donde Le deben buscar. El clero ya no podrá mantener nunca más la antigua disciplina, a ellos se les ha perdido la fuerza que facilita su oficio en el anunciamiento de la Palabra de Dios, pues a ellos mismos también les falta muchas veces la fe profunda. Ya no pueden representar con celo santo, lo que enseñan, y así aclara una cosa la otra.

La Palabra de Dios tiene que hacerse víva en el predicador. Quien habla al pueblo, tiene que estar penetrado de verdadero amor al Salvador, entonces cada palabra penetrará también en los corazones humanos, y cada vez más intimamente se unirá la sociedad en la tierra que está dispuesta a servir y seguir al Salvador.

Pero quien abandona la iglesia madre renuncia a la Gracia divina, si él voluntariamente no penetra con el corazón en la Doctrina divina. Para este tiempo de hoy es esa u lucha en el corazón de un valor sumamente grande, si no queréis perecer. Allí donde se reune una parroquía para oir la Palabra de Dios, allí está el suelo preparado y entonces, sí está activo el amor, y pronto estará el hijo de la tierra preparado para notar las benediciones de la Palabra de Dios, siendo así capaz de penetrar más y más profundamente en la Doctrina divina, y se le dará la justa comprensión para la Palabra de Dios, y así está puesto el fundamento de la fe en una parroquía así, y si esa parroquía está subordinada a un pastor fiel que sirve al Señor, entonces las Palabras del Señor se arraígan pronto en los corazones de los fieles, y estos serán bien conducídos por el camino hacia arriba. Por eso sed fieles a vuestra iglesia madre, y no la dejéis, pues cada una de ellas os puede dar el fundamento sobre el que vosotros mismos podéis evolucíonar hacia lo alto, si no solamente oís con los oídos, sino con los corazones, lo que el Padre celestial deja que os llegue por sus siervos. Sabed así, que el Señor mismo os habla a través de ellos. Sabed que todo el que sierve al Señor, está destinado a anunciar la Palabra para que una vez haya una gran cosecha, y estimad a todos lo obreros en la viña del Senor, quien anuncia su Palabra está por El encargado, y tiene Su Fuerza. Oídle, y la bendición de la Palabra de Dios os sobrevendrá.

Leaving the mother church....

The biggest foolishness in life takes place when people withdraw from the church they belong to. The circumstances the clergy find themselves in nowadays are not easy.... they do everything possible to help the church keep its sheep and yet one after the other isolates itself and often no longer finds its way back.... It is then exceptionally difficult to influence the souls of such deserters even though this is and indeed should be every clergyman’s task. Now the Lord puts the gift of teaching into the hands of His chosen servants.... not to push the clergy out of office but to help them, so that people outside the church also receive the blessing of God’s Word. But who listens to and accepts the Word....

It is indescribably difficult for someone having voluntarily separated himself from the church to submit to God’s commandments.... It is not as if he did not have the opportunity to walk the right path.... If his heart dictates what is pleasing to the Lord and he follows this voice he will very soon reach a level which can lead him to much further ascent.... but usually people who have separated from their mother church are not at all interested in purely spiritual matters. They deny everything and are therefore in an extremely unsafe position by delivering themselves to evil powers, since they give up all support which the church had still provided to them and are far more likely to become entirely unbelieving, and their whole direction of thought only applies to the present.... but they deny life after death, which is generally the reason why they have separated from their previous belief. If these people are confronted by great hardship one day they won’t know where to turn.... then they will look for their God and don’t know where to look for Him....

The clergy will never again be able to keep up the old discipline, it has lost the strength which makes the task of the messengers of God’s Word easier, because they themselves often lack true profound faith as well.... They cannot any longer support with holy eagerness what they are teaching, and thus one thing explains the other. God’s Word has to come to life in the messenger.... anyone speaking to the people has to be permeated by true love for the Saviour. Then every word flowing from his mouth will be spoken by the Lord Himself.... then every word will also enter into the human beings’ hearts, and the small flock of people on earth which follows the Saviour and is willing to serve Him, will unite ever more closely. But anyone leaving the mother church surrenders himself to divine grace if he does not voluntarily bring himself in his heart to accept the divine doctrine.... Such struggle of heart is of immense value at the present time if you do not want to perish. The soil is being prepared wherever a community congregates to hear God’s Word, and if a person’s love is active as well the earthly child will soon feel the blessing of God’s Word by being able to penetrate the divine teaching ever more and by receiving the right understanding for God’s Word.

And thus the foundation of faith is laid in such a community, and if a faithful, God-serving shepherd is in charge of this community the Lord’s Words will soon take root in the hearts of the believers, and they will be correctly guided onto the path of ascent. Therefore remain faithful to your mother church and don’t leave it, for every church can give you the foundation for your own progress of ascent if you don’t just listen with your ears but also with your hearts to what your Heavenly Father is telling you through His servants. Therefore, when you hear God’s Word you should know that the Lord Himself is speaking to you.... you should know that everyone who serves the Lord has been chosen to proclaim the Word, that one day there shall be a great harvest.... and respect all workers in the vineyard of the Lord.... Any person proclaiming His Word has been given the task and strength by Him.... thus listen to him and the blessing of God’s Word will always come over you....
