Matrimonio.... Ante Dios y ante el mundo....

Deben encontrarse el uno al otro en el amor, de lo contrario la unión no es bendecida por Mí. El matrimonio es la unión, la convivencia en la más íntima armonía, el matrimonio es un estado que no se puede crear legalmente, sino que requiere siempre un profundo amor desinteresado que, sin embargo, una vez que se ha encendido en el corazón, no puede apagarse nunca, porque el verdadero amor une los corazones, no es un amor del cuerpo que busca su realización en la embriaguez sensual; no es un amor exigente. Un amor que constantemente da y busca hacer feliz es la base de un matrimonio bendecido por Mí. El matrimonio es la comunión íntima de dos personas cuyos corazones sienten un amor puro el uno por el otro.... Un matrimonio así es indisoluble porque el amor verdadero no puede pasar nunca. Y este matrimonio se hace efectivo tan pronto como dos personas se encomiendan a Mí para que bendiga su unión. Entonces son considerados marido y mujer ante Mí, y deben permanecer juntos hasta que la muerte los separe. Quien ha contraído un matrimonio de este tipo siempre sentirá que pertenece al otro, aunque las circunstancias externas separen a las personas. Mi bendición descansará sobre ellos porque el sentimiento más santo, que tiene su origen en Mí, ha impulsado el vínculo, que es la primera condición para un matrimonio querido por Mí.... (29.6.1948) El amor puro, sin embargo, sólo se encuentra raramente en la tierra, no obstante, se establecen uniones matrimoniales, y esto tampoco es contrario a Mi voluntad, porque la raza humana está destinada a reproducirse, porque innumerables almas esperan nacer en la carne para cubrir su último curso de desarrollo en el mundo de la materia. De ahí que el vínculo entre dos personas deba tener una forma exteriormente reconocible, una forma que incluya ciertas leyes, obligaciones y derechos, porque sin ellos las personas violan con demasiada facilidad el orden previsto por Mí y ponen así en peligro la correcta educación de su descendencia, la que sin embargo, es de suma importancia para su desarrollo espiritual. Así, el matrimonio según la forma legal está de acuerdo con Mi voluntad, pero el hecho de que Mi bendición especial descanse sobre él depende del grado de amor de ambos cónyuges entre sí, pero Mi bendición a su vez es decisiva para que un matrimonio se celebre ante personas o ante Mí. Si un matrimonio se establece por otros motivos sin un profundo amor por ambas partes, entonces la unión es ciertamente válida ante el mundo y no negaré Mi apoyo si se solicita, sin embargo no es un matrimonio en el sentido correcto de la palabra en el que Me complazco, no es el estado de unión pretendido por Mí que, a través del amor, se convierte en un acto de beatitud que Yo bendigo. Porque el principio de dar siempre prevalecerá donde está el amor puro, y así nunca seré eliminado en tal matrimonio, Quien soy el amor mismo, y Mi espíritu dominará a la gente y actuará en aquellos que así se presenten ante Mí y pidan Mi bendición como marido y mujer....

Marriage.... In the presence of God and before the world....

You have to find each other in love otherwise a union is not blessed by Me. Marriage is togetherness; it is a living together in most heart-felt harmony. Marriage is a state which cannot be lawfully created but its prerequisite is always profoundly unselfish love which, once it is kindled within the heart, can never be extinguished again. Because the right kind of love unites the hearts, it is not a physical love which looks for fulfilment in the intoxication of senses, it is not a demanding love. Ever-giving and happiness-imparting love is the foundation of a marriage which is blessed by Me.

Marriage is a sincere community of two people whose hearts feel pure love for each other.... A marriage like that cannot be undone because true love can never cease. And this marriage will take place as soon as two people commend themselves to Me for the blessing of their bond. Then they are husband and wife before Me and they shall remain together until death separates them. Anyone who gets married in this way will always have a sense of belonging to the other person even if external circumstances separate them. My blessing will rest upon them because the most sacred feeling, having its source in Me, was the cause of the relationship, which is the primary condition for a marriage intended by Me.... But pure love is rarely to be found on earth these days, although marital bonds are nevertheless still formed. This is not against My will because humanity should reproduce itself, given that countless souls are awaiting their embodiment in order to cover their last stage of development in the world of matter. Hence the marriage between two people has to be given an externally recognisable form, a structure which incorporates certain laws, obligations and rights. Without them people would contravene My necessary order too easily and thereby jeopardise their children's correct education which, however, is of utmost significance for their spiritual development. The legal form of the marriage ceremony is therefore in accordance with My will, but whether My particular blessing rests on it depends on the degree of mutual love between both husband and wife, whereas it depends on My blessing whether a wedding ceremony is being conducted before people or in My presence.

If a marriage ceremony is conducted for other reasons without deep mutual love, then the relationship will certainly be valid before the world, and I would not withhold My support if it is requested, but it is not a marriage in the true sense of the word which is pleasing to Me, it is not the state of union wanted by Me which, due to love, becomes an act of happiness that will be blessed by Me. Because the giving principle will always be predominant in the presence of pure love, consequently I, Who Am love Itself, will never be excluded from a marriage like that, and My spirit will govern the people and work in those who step before Me as husband and wife and ask for My blessing....
