Seria exhortación al cristiano amor al prójimo

Reconoced vuestras debilidades y tradad de eliminarlas. No seáis impacientes, se trata de que os pongáis en la situación del otro y sed indulgentes, no ofendáis a los otros, y tomad en serio el precepto del amor cuando el prójimo os necesite, ya sea con ayuda activa o consuelos alentadores. No déis ningún motivo a riñas, sino buscad un acuerdo en amor, tomad un ejemplo de Mí, quien con corazón amoroso iba al encuentro de todos los hombres para ganármelos. Así también debéis vosotros de esforzaros siempre, en ganar el corazón de los demás, nada debéis omitir que pueda despertar el amor, porque sólo en el amor puede aflorar plena comprensión hacia las debilidades del prójimo.

De este modo ensayaos uno en el otro, no dejéis ninguna oportunidad desaprovechada cuando podéis causar alegría con una palabra cariñosa o hechos cariñosos y buena disposición de ánimo, porque así mantenéis alejado el sufrimiento del prójimo, así le dais paz interior, haciendo de este modo una verdadera obra de caridad que os ocasionará bendiciones; porque lo fortificáis corporal y espiritualmente. El mismo se trasladará en la situación del amor, siente amor correspondido, y no tardará en dejar que se haga activo su amor. Tened paciencia y sed dulces, pacíficos y humildes, y vustra vida será más fácil, porque el amor es la mejor arma contra la hostilidad, y el amor perdona y transige, da y hace feliz, él une los corazones, cura las heridas y jamás será incomprensivo hacia las debilidades y faltas del prójimo y, sin embargo, por último vence, pues el amor es fuerza, una fuerza que consigue todo lo que él (el amor) quiere.

Serious admonitions about Christian neighbourly love....

Recognise your weaknesses and try to resolve them.... don't become impatient when you should put yourselves into another person's position, and be lenient.... don't hurt his feelings, and take the commandment of love seriously when your neighbour needs your active help or encouraging words.... Don't provide any reason for argument but kind-heartedly try to find agreement, take My example, I Who approached all people with a loving heart to win them over. And thus you, too, should always try to win the other person's heart; you should leave nothing undone that could awaken love, for full understanding of the other person's weaknesses can only manifest itself in love. And thus each one of you should do this to the other, leave no opportunity unused to please with a kind word or a loving action, for if you avoid hurting your neighbour, if you give him inner peace, you will do a truly Christian deed of neighbourly love which will benefit you, for you will thereby strengthen him physically and spiritually. He will be placed into a state of love himself, he will feel love in return, and he will not fail to put his love into action. He will lessen his selfish love....

Be patient and gentle, meek and humble, and your life will become easier, for love is the best weapon against animosity, and love forgives and endures, it gives and makes happy, it unites hearts, it heals wounds and will never be without understanding of the other person's weaknesses and faults and will finally triumph nevertheless, for love is strength which achieves whatever it wants....
