La fe formal - La convicción de fe

En tiempos de gran necesidad terrenal se aclara el estado espiritual de cada individuo en eso, de que la fe o está consolidada o se pierde por completo, si fue anteriormente sólo una fe formal, que aún no podía convencer a los hombres. Muchos caen en apostasía de la fe, su mirada está aún muy terrenalmente dirigida, y ellos no pueden hacer compatible el suceso mundial y su propio destino con la Divinidad eterna, de quien sólo esperan una vida feliz terrena a causa de su ignorancia. Ellos quieren reconocer sólo a un Dios, quien les regale todas las ventajas y comodidades de la vida, pero no les es comprensible de que ellos mismos, por ligereza, se pierden, a causa de su conducta, un bienestar en la tierra, a causa de su lejanía de Dios. Cuanto más grave es la necesidad que se les es dirigida, tanto más se alejan ellos de Él, Lo rechazan, no se resignan en su destino, sino que murmuran y se quejan, tratando ellos mismos de disminuir su estado calamitoso mediante hechos injustos y procedimientos contra el prójimo exentos de amor. Su fe en Dios era sólo una fe de forma, la cual no resistió una seria prueba, porque era sin valor y primero tiene que llegar a ser una fe convencida. Son sólo pocos hombres, los que en tiempos de apuros se aprietan más estrechamente a Dios, porque creen en Él firmemente y no se dejan disuadir de esta fe. Ellos ven los sufrimientos como lo que son, como un medio, por medio del cual Dios quiere ganarse a los hombres que Le han renegado. Ellos piden incesantemente a Dios por fuerza y son también capaces de soportar el sufrimiento. Esa fuerza se la dá la fe, y Dios no abandona a los Suyos, es decir, a los que creen en Él y se refugian en Él en toda necesidad. Pero el estado de los incrédulos es desesperado, mientras dén sólo atención a los sucesos terrenales y no reflexionen sobre el sentido y finalidad de ellos.

Pero tiene que verificarse una aclaración, pues la fe formal no es ninguna fe, así como Dios la pide, ella ha sido transmitida escolarmente a los hombres y aún no se ha hecho viva en ellos mismos; es una fe muerta, la cual no fomenta el alma en su desarrollo y de ahí que exija una fuerte prueba, para que por ella le sea claro al hombre respecto a su pensar y su actitud o posición hacia Dios, quien Le deniega, impresionado por la necesidad y el suceso terrenal, por el propio destino, tendrá que ir a través de pruebas mayores, para que gane, sí, aún la fe, o él se perderá y pertenecerá en el fin a aquellos que están y son condenados, los que cuentan entre los del enemigo de Dios y por eso reciben el castigo justo, la marcha de nuevo por la nueva creación, tienen que dejarla otra vez atrás con objeto de su remisión.

Los fieles están igualmente expuestos a fuertes pruebas, pero una convicción de fe no se deja fácilmente estremecer, y Dios asiste y está con los que le son fieles, con los que resisten y perseveran en todas las pruebas y tanto más intimamente se juntan a Dios, porque creen firmemente en Él y Su Amor, Omnipotencia y Sabiduría. Y esta fe firme les será premiada en el último día del Juicio, donde Dios Mismo los introduce en el Paraíso, donde toda pena encuentra un fin y ellos son sumamente felices en la presencia de Dios.

Form faith.... convinced faith....

In times of greatest earthly adversity the spiritual state of individual people clarifies itself insofar as faith is either strengthened or completely lost, if it was previously only a formal faith which could not yet convince people. Many fall away from faith, their eyes are still too earthly directed and they cannot bring world events and their own fate into harmony with the eternal deity, from Whom they only expect a happy earthly life due to their ignorance. They only want to acknowledge a God Who gives them all the comforts of life, but the fact that they themselves forfeit their well-being on earth through their way of life, through their distance from God, is incomprehensible to them. The more severe the hardship becomes, the more they distance themselves from Him, they reject Him, they do not surrender to their fate but grumble and complain and try to reduce their state of hardship through unjust actions and unkind behaviour towards their neighbour. Their faith in God was only a formal faith which did not stand up to serious scrutiny, but which was also worthless and must first become a convinced faith. There are only a few people who cling more closely to God in times of adversity because they firmly believe in Him and do not let themselves be diverted from this faith. They see suffering for what it is, as a means by which God wants to win over people who have fallen away from Him. They constantly ask God for strength and are now also able to endure suffering. Faith gives them this strength and God does not rely on His own, i.e. those who believe in Him and take refuge in Him in every adversity. But the state of those unbelievers is hopeless as long as they only pay attention to earthly events and don't think about the meaning and purpose of them. But a clarification must take place, for the faith in form is not faith as God demands it.... It has been scholastically transferred to people and has not yet come alive in them; it is a dead faith which does not support the soul in its development and therefore requires a strong examination so that the human being will become clear about his thinking and his attitude towards God. Anyone who rejects Him, impressed by adversity and earthly events, by his own fate, will have to go through greater trials in order to still gain faith after all, or he will get lost and in the end belong to those who are condemned, who belong to God's opponents and therefore receive the just punishment, who will have to travel the path through the new creation again for the purpose of their redemption. The believers will also be exposed to severe trials, yet a convinced faith cannot be shaken so easily, and God stands by those who are faithful to Him, who withstand all trials and attach themselves to God all the more intimately because they firmly believe in Him and His love, omnipotence and wisdom. And this firm faith will be rewarded to them on the day of judgment, when God Himself will lead them into paradise, where all adversity will come to an end and they will be exceedingly happy in the presence of God....
