Valor del conocimiento versus el estado de ignorancia....

Un cambio constante de la forma externa asegura que lo espiritual contenido en ella madure y, por lo tanto, está desarrollándose constantemente. Y esta es la base para el constante crecimiento y decadencia de todas las obras de creación. El proceso de desarrollo superior es tanto la causa como el propósito de la creación. Por la gracia de la iluminación interior, el hombre tiene conocimiento de esto, y ahora ve la creación como un medio para la perfección de los espiritual.... Pero el significado y el propósito de la creación es incomprensible para los humanos que carecen de conocimiento, porque existen innumerables cosas en la creación que aparecen sin significado ni propósito porque no llevan a cabo ninguna actividad con un propósito que les resulte evidente ni muestran ningún beneficio.

Esta falta de conocimiento tiene como consecuencia que la Deidad Eterna no es reconocida adecuadamente en Su grandeza, en Su amor, sabiduría y omnipotencia.... tiene como consecuencia que el humano no puede sentir el amor por Él que debe desencadenar el reconocimiento de Su perfección. También significa que el deseo por Dios no puede ser tan profundo, porque sólo el amor a Dios impulsa a los humanos a esforzarse hacia Él, a adaptarse a Él. Tal amor nunca se encenderá en el ser humano si todo el gobierno y la obra de Dios permanecen ocultos para él, es decir, si ignora por completo el significado y el propósito de la creación, acerca de la correlación entre las obras individuales de la creación y Dios.

El estado de conocimiento es innegablemente más valioso para el humano que vivir en la ignorancia. El estado de conocimiento es un señal de desarrollo ascendente, es un progreso espiritual, un estado de luz, que es comprensiblemente preferible al estado de ignorancia, de oscuridad. Para conocer el significado y el propósito de la creación, uno debe contribuir al grado requerido de madurez, que es el propósito y el objetivo de la vida en la Tierra. La creación misma ayuda ahora al hombre a adquirir el conocimiento adecuado tan pronto como le presta atención y envía pensamientos interrogativos al espacio y se abre a la respuesta mental que ahora le fluyen hacia él.... Porque la voluntad de Dios consiste en que el hombre llegue a ser sabiendo, que obtiene conocimiento de Su gobierno y obra, en la medida en que esto sea permisible en la Tierra.

Sin embargo, los humanos mismos determinan los límites de su conocimiento a través de su voluntad, tan pronto como ésta se niega a aceptar un conocimiento que se les presenta sin examinar seriamente hasta qué punto puede incorporarlo en sus ideas. La voluntad del hombre es libre, por lo tanto el conocimiento debe ser ofrecido a él de tal manera que no se vea obligado a aceptarlo, lo cual sería el caso si dicho conocimiento pudiera ser probado o si el hombre fuera convencido de su verdad por un milagro, lo que le es presentado como verdad.

Más bien el ser humano debe, con toda libertad de creencia y voluntad, tomar una postura mental sobre este asunto y decidir en favor o en contra sin dejarse influenciar. Y también deberá someter los conocimientos que ha absorbido previamente a otra prueba para ver si resiste lo que se le ofrece. Sólo quien desea seriamente la verdad reconocerá la verdad como tal, y la verdad sólo estará allí donde se desee seriamente....

Value of knowledge over the state of ignorance....

A continual change of the outer form brings about that the spiritual within comes to maturity, i.e. constantly develops further. And this is the reason for the constant becoming and passing away of all works of creation. The process of higher development is therefore the cause, as well as the purpose of creation. Through the grace of inner enlightenment, the human being is aware of this and now regards creation as a means to the perfection of the spiritual.... However, the meaning and purpose of creation is incomprehensible to people who lack knowledge of it, for countless things exist in creation which appear without meaning and purpose because they do not carry out any apparent purposeful activity or reveal any benefit. The consequence of this lack of knowledge is that the eternal deity is not properly recognized in Its greatness, in Its love, wisdom and omnipotence.... it has the consequence that man cannot feel the love for It which the recognition of Its perfection must trigger. It also means that the desire for God cannot be so deep because only love for God drives people to strive towards Him, to conform to Him. Such love will never be kindled in a person if all of God's reign and activity remains hidden from him, thus he is completely ignorant of the meaning and purpose of creation, of the connection between the individual works of creation and God. The knowing state is indisputably more valuable for man than living in ignorance. The knowing state is a sign of upward development, it is spiritual progress, a state of light, which is understandably preferable to the state of ignorance, of darkness. To know the meaning and purpose of creation must contribute to the necessary degree of maturity, which is the purpose and goal of life on earth. creation itself now helps man to the right knowledge as soon as he pays attention to it and sends questioning thoughts out into the universe and opens himself to the mental answer now flowing towards him.... For it is God's will that man should become knowledgeable, that he should gain insight into His reign and activity insofar as this is permissible on earth. But people themselves determine the limits of their knowledge through their will as soon as the latter refuses to accept knowledge offered to him without seriously examining the extent to which he can convincingly accept it into his thoughts. The human being's will is free, consequently knowledge has to be offered to him such that he is not forced to accept it, but this would be the case if such knowledge could be proven or the human being would be convinced by a miracle of the truth of what is offered to him as truth. Rather, the human being must mentally take a stand on it in all freedom of faith and will and decide for or against it without being influenced. And he must also re-examine the knowledge he has previously received to see how far it can stand up to what is newly offered. Only the person who seriously desires the truth will also recognize the truth as such, and the truth will only be where it is seriously desired.
