Estado de estar alejado de Dios....

El estado de estar alejado de Dios nunca puede tener el efecto de que un ser humano sea bueno y noble, sino que siempre se sentirá atraído hacia donde actúan fuerzas opuestas a Dios, se complacerá en el mal, corresponderá completamente a la voluntad de aquel que se encuentra a la mayor distancia de Dios.

Estar lejos de Dios significa bajo nivel y bajeza, significa imperfección, ignorancia e impotencia.... Y por eso un ser en un estado alejado de Dios no puede ser ni bueno ni noble, ni sabio, poderos y perfecto. Llevará dentro de sí todas las características que encarno el polo opuesto a Dios.

Cualquiera que trata de cambiar su estado de alejamiento de Dios debe tratar de escapar del oponente de Dios; Debe evitar aquello que marca su pertenencia a éste. Él mismo debe formarse hacia la altura, hacia Dios.... debe intentar acercarse a Dios.

Y por eso debe hacer ahora lo contrario de lo que ha hecho hasta ahora cuando estaba bajo la influencia del oponente de Dios.... Debe cambiar todo su ser, debe esforzarse por alcanzar la perfección, debe desear el conocimiento y pedir fuerza.... Debe combatir las características del poder que está alejado de Dios y formarse de tal manera que sea digno de estar cerca de Dios. Porque la cercanía a Dios es lo más precioso que el hombre puede alcanzar en la Tierra.

Porque así como el estar alejado de Dios ata al ser, éste se vuelve libre al estar cerca de Dios, y la libertad es el objetivo deseable de todo lo espiritual. El que está alejado de Dios también está atado; Pero todo lo que no es libre siente la compulsión y quiere romper con ella.... Tan pronto como el ser percibe el estado alejado de Dios como un tormento y quiere escapar de ello, también existe la posibilidad de que alcance su objetivo.

Sólo lo que se encuentra cómodo en el estado alejado de Dios nunca estará libre del poder de quien se opone a Dios. No puede liberarse porque la tendencia hacia abajo es todavía demasiado grande en su interior; será incapaz de un acto noble, tampoco podrá amar, y todo lo que haga estará más de acuerdo con la voluntad del poder maligno.

Pero Dios quiere cambiar el estado de estar alejado de Dios, y cuando el ser no se esfuerza por lograrlo por sí mismo, Él le da más oportunidades.... Él busca inducir a los hombres a hacer buenas obras para que así sientan el poder del amor divino y ahora ya no puede estar sin éste.

Y entonces comienza el ascenso hacia las alturas, entonces comienza a despertar en él el deseo de cercanía a Dios, y el hombre se aleja del oponente de Dios por su propia voluntad, porque el deseo de Dios se activa en él, es decir, estimula su voluntad de acudir a Dios en busca de ayuda.... Y el hombre no clamará en vano si su oración es por un desarrollo espiritual superior....

State of remoteness from God....

The state of remoteness from God can never have the effect that the human being is good and noble, but he will always feel drawn to where God-opposing forces are active, he will take pleasure in evil, he will completely correspond to the will of the one who stands at the greatest distance from God. To be distant from God means being low and lowly, it means imperfection, ignorance and powerlessness.... And therefore a being in a state far from God can neither be good and noble, nor wise, powerful and perfect. It will bear all the characteristics that the antithesis of God embodies. He who seeks to change his state far from God must try to flee from the opponent of God; he must avoid that which puts the stamp of his affiliation with him on him. He must raise himself up to meet God.... he must try to get close to God. And thus he must do what is contrary to what he has done so far when he was under the influence of God's adversary.... He must change his whole being, he must strive for perfection, he must desire knowledge and ask for strength.... He must fight the characteristics of the power far from God and mould himself in such a way that he is worthy of closeness to God. For closeness to God is the most precious thing a person can achieve on earth. For just as the state far from God binds the being, so it becomes free through closeness to God, and freedom is the desirable goal of all spirituality. He who is far from God is also bound; but everything that is not free feels the compulsion and would like to free itself from it.... As soon as the being feels the state far from God as agony and wants to flee from it, there is also the prospect that it will reach its goal. Only what feels comfortable in the state of being far from God will never become free from the power of the one who opposes God. It cannot become free because the downward inclination is still too great in it; it will be incapable of noble action; it will also be incapable of love, and everything it does will be more in accordance with the will of the evil power. But God wants to change the state far from God, and where the being does not strive for this of its own accord, He gives it further opportunities.... He tries to induce the human being to do good deeds so that he thereby feels the strength of divine love and no longer wants to be without it. And then the ascent upwards begins, then the desire for closeness to God starts to awaken in him, and the human being turns away from God's adversary of his own free will because the desire for God becomes active in him, i.e. stimulates his will to turn to God for help.... And the human being will not call in vain if his prayer is for higher spiritual development....
