Valor del conocimiento espiritual.... Conocimiento espiritual....

El hombre carece del conocimiento adecuado mientras no haya penetrado aún en el conocimiento espiritual, porque sólo esto le acerca a la cognición. El conocimiento terrenal ciertamente contribuye a dominar la vida en la tierra y satisfacer sus exigencias, pero no tiene la más mínima influencia sobre el estado del alma, a la que se debe prestar el mismo cuidado que al estado físico, al que, sin embargo, se la da más importancia en la vida terrenal. El conocimiento espiritual es el alimento del alma; es lo único beneficioso para el alma que le da fuerza para la tarea de la vida. Quien cultiva el conocimiento espiritual no necesita preocuparse por su alma, porque ahora recibe suficiente de lo que necesita para un desarrollo superior, mientras que el conocimiento terrenal sólo trae éxito al cuerpo y promueve el bienestar en la Tierra.

El hombre debe tener claro el hecho de que todos los esfuerzos en la vida terrenal deben servir a un propósito útil y, por lo tanto, debe examinarse el verdadero propósito del conocimiento terrenal y espiritual para ver hasta qué punto corresponde al deseo del hombre y, por lo tanto, que apunta a algo que vale la pena llegar a ser. El conocimiento contribuye a aumentar el bienestar terrenal, pero el peligro último es para el alma si tiene en cuenta los deseos del cuerpo, es decir, si quiere, siente y piensa lo que aumenta el bienestar del cuerpo. Es peligro del alma reside en el estancamiento espiritual que evitablemente se produce cuando se respeta sólo el cuerpo. Pero el cuerpo sólo tiene un corto periodo de existencia, después del cual el alma permanece vacía y sin mérito a las puertas de la eternidad, y tormentos indescriptibles son las consecuencias de la voluntad equivocada, del conocimiento terrenal por lo que se esfuerza, que no le traerá ni el más mínimo alivio en el más allá.

Sin embargo, quien se esfuerza por el conocimiento espiritual ya alcanza un alto grado de madurez en la tierra, porque el conocimiento espiritual que se le imparte, impulsa al alma a asegurar su desarrollo superior. Ella no presta atención al cuerpo y trata constantemente de usar su vida en la tierra de acuerdo con el conocimiento espiritual, lo que le traerá el mayor éxito en la tierra y se percibe como indescriptiblemente liberador en el más allá. Porque permanecer en el conocimiento espiritual significa penetrar en el gobierno y la obra de Dios; Significa tener conocimiento de fluir del poder de Dios, del amor, sabiduría y la omnipotencia de Dios, de la irradiación de Su Espíritu, del propósito y significado de toda la creación y de los dones de la gracia que el hombre puede alcanzar si sólo quiere. El conocimiento de todo esto es la motivación para trabajar conscientemente en uno mismo; permite que el deseo físico pase a un segundo plano y el anhelo por Dios se convierta en el sentido de la vida.

El conocimiento espiritual entonces promueve el estado del alma y permite al hombre transformarse en seres de luz incluso en la tierra. El conocimiento espiritual benéfica primero el alma, pero tampoco deja de lado al cuerpo, porque ahora también se le da de lo que necesita, si se piensa primero en el alma y se ignoran los deseos físicos por el bien del alma. Y el salir de este mundo será fácil y conducirá al alma hacia la gloria eterna, porque pasará al otro lado con riquezas indescriptibles, llevándose consigo todos los tesoros que ha adquirido a través del conocimiento espiritual en la tierra. Ella tiene algo que jamás le podrán quitar, y entrar en la eternidad significa felicidad y dicha para ella....

Value of spiritual knowledge....earthly knowledge....

The human being lacks the right realization as long as he has not yet penetrated spiritual knowledge, for only this brings him closer to realization. Earthly knowledge certainly contributes towards mastering earthly life and fulfilling its requirements, but it does not have the slightest influence on the state of the soul, which should be given the same care as the physical state but which is taken more seriously in earthly life. spiritual knowledge is the soul's nourishment, it is the only thing beneficial to the soul which gives it strength to fulfil its task in life. He who cultivates spiritual knowledge need not worry about his soul, for it now receives sufficiently what it needs for higher development, whereas earthly knowledge again only brings success to the body and favours an earthly life of well-being. The human being must realize that all endeavours in earthly life must serve a useful purpose after all, and thus the true purpose of earthly as well as spiritual knowledge must be examined as to how far it corresponds to the human being's desire and is therefore worth striving for. Earthly knowledge contributes to the increase of earthly well-being, but the latter is the greatest danger for the soul if it takes the body's desire into account, i.e. wants, feels and thinks what increases the body's well-being. The soul's danger lies in the spiritual stagnation that inevitably occurs when the body alone is respected. But the body only has a short duration of existence, afterwards the soul stands empty and without merit at the gate of eternity, and unspeakable torments are the consequences of the wrong will, of the striven-for earthly knowledge, which does not bring it the slightest relief in the beyond. However, anyone who strives for spiritual knowledge already attains a high degree of maturity on earth, for the spiritual knowledge imparted to him impels the soul to take care of its higher development. It pays no attention to the body and constantly endeavours to use earthly life in accordance with spiritual knowledge, which will already bring it greatest success on earth and will be indescribably redeeming in the beyond. For to stand in spiritual knowledge means a penetration into God's reign and activity; it means to have knowledge of God's current of power, of God's love, omnipotence and wisdom, of the radiation of His spirit, of the purpose and meaning of all creation and the favours which man can gain for himself if only he wants to. The knowledge of all this is the motivation to consciously work on oneself; it allows the physical desire to recede into the background and the desire for God to become the purpose of life. spiritual knowledge therefore promotes the state of the soul and puts the human being in a position to mould himself into a being of light already on earth. spiritual knowledge first benefits the soul but does not leave the body unnoticed either, for it will now also be given what it needs if the soul is thought of first and the bodily desire for the sake of the soul is disregarded. And the departure from this world will be an easy one and lead the soul towards eternal glory, for it will pass over with an unimaginable wealth, it will take all the treasures it has acquired on earth through spiritual knowledge with it, as it were. It possesses something that can never be taken away from it again and the entrance into eternity will mean happiness and eternal bliss for it....
