Lucha del alma.... Oración.... Libre albedrío.... Materia....

El alma tiene que superar dificultades indescriptibles antes de convertirse en dueño de toda la materia. Porque en la lucha con esta se queda tanto tiempo hasta que se esfuerza conscientemente por ayuda, y a su vez sólo hará lo último cuando haya superado el deseo por el bien terrenal, así que, ya ha declarado la guerra a la materia. Pero para poder superarla necesita el apoyo de seres espirituales serviciales, las cuales pone a su disposición a través de la oración. Pero todavía tiene que luchar mucho y ella misma tiene que estar inquietantemente activa, porque el alma solo puede madurar a través de su propio trabajo, y el apoyo de los amigos espirituales solo consiste en transmitir la fuerza necesaria para el alma luchando, la cual ahora debe usar ella misma en reconocimiento de su tarea terrenal. Entonces, sin duda, hay una transformación completa en el poder de cada ser humano, si la voluntad sólo se ha decidido una vez para esto.

La gente a veces cree que no puede emprender por sí misma y que sólo tiene que cumplir siempre la voluntad de Dios, y conviene volver a señalar, que en relación a lo espiritual no está sujeto a ninguna coacción por parte del creador divino, sino que le queda toda la libertad de voluntad, si se trata de la salvación de su alma. Su pensamiento ciertamente será dirigido por parte del lado espiritual hacia los problemas espirituales, se le llegará una aclaración de muchas cuestiones, pero su voluntad podrá decidir con toda libertad si y en qué medida los pensamientos transmitidos son asumidos y atendidos. Y las personas también son libres de usar la oración para obtener la fuerza que necesitan para satisfacer las demandas más difíciles.

El alma humano, por tanto, tiene indudablemente una gran tarea que cumplir, que consiste en cuidar su transformación para que ella misma se eleve de las tinieblas del espíritu.... para pueda librarse de los grilletes de la materia y esto a través del amor.... debe estar incesantemente activa para formarse.... debe quitar todo lo innoble de sí mismo, debe luchar por la perfección y recordar siempre que solo dispone de poco tiempo que le debe servir para su transformación.... también debe saber que él mismo tiene la mayor desventaja cuando el tiempo terrenal no lo ha llevado a la madurez y, por lo tanto, solo se esfuerza por una cosa, estar continuamente activo.... Luchar continuamente y romper con todo lo que parece deseable para ella para vencer la materia definitivamente y a través de esto librarse de cualquier atadura que le impida subir a las esferas de luz....

Wrestling of the soul.... prayer.... free will.... matter....

The soul has to overcome unspeakable difficulties before it has become master of all matter. For it is in battle with matter until it consciously strives for help, and again, it will only do the latter when it has overcome its desire for earthly possessions, thus it has, as it were, already declared war on matter. But in order to be able to overcome it needs the support of helpful spiritual beings which it makes serviceable to itself through prayer. But it still has to struggle a lot and has to be restlessly active itself, for the soul can only mature through its own work, and the support of spiritual friends only consists of conveying the necessary strength to the struggling soul, but which it now has to utilize itself in realization of its earthly task. Thus a complete transformation is undoubtedly within every person's power once the will has decided to do so.... People sometimes believe that they cannot do anything themselves and only ever have to carry out God's will, and again it should be pointed out that the human being is not subject to any coercion from the divine creator in a spiritual respect, that instead all freedom of will is left to him if it concerns his soul's salvation. His thoughts will indeed be directed by the spiritual side towards spiritual problems, he will receive enlightenment in many questions, yet his will will be completely free to decide whether and to what extent the transmitted thoughts will be accepted and taken to heart. And likewise, the human being is free to gain the necessary strength through prayer in order to meet the most difficult demands. Consequently, the human soul undoubtedly has to fulfil a great task which consists of taking care of its transformation so that it will lift itself out of the darkness of spirit.... so that it will liberate itself from the fetters of matter, and this through love.... it must constantly be active to shape itself.... it must reject everything ignoble, it must strive for perfection and always be mindful of the fact that it only has a short time at its disposal which should serve its transformation.... it must also know that it is at the greatest disadvantage if the time on earth has not brought it maturity, and therefore only strive for one thing, to be constantly active to constantly wrestle and detach itself from everything that appears desirable to it in order to finally conquer matter and thereby free itself from every shackle which prevents it from ascending into light spheres....
