Missie – Uitvoeren met goddelijke kracht

Elke missie voor God vereist als eerste een bereidwilligheid, want dit is meestal zo’n taak, die van de mens een overwinning op zichzelf verlangt. Die dus alleen maar uitgevoerd kan worden, als de mens zich van deze eis bewust is en er toch de wil toe heeft. Een missie voor God uit te voeren, zal altijd een strijd met de wereld betekenen en daarom hoort er moed en vastberadenheid bij, die de mens opbrengt, als hij God liefheeft en Hem dus dienen wil.

Maar slechts weinig mensen willen Hem bewust dienen, want maar weinig mensen keren zich van de wereld af en de strijd met de wereld wordt daardoor makkelijker voor hen. Zolang de mens zich door de wereld gevangen laat nemen, is het voor hem niet mogelijk om deze te bestrijden. Dat wil zeggen dat alleen diegene, die de wereld veracht, de strijd niet als zo zwaar ervaart, omdat hij graag afstand doet van hetgeen de wereld in de strijd van hem afneemt.

Maar de wil van de mens om God te dienen en zodoende de missie op zich te nemen, wordt door God in zoverre meer dan rijkelijk beloond, dat hem kracht gegeven wordt in de strijd tegen de wereld. En daarom hoeft hij niet te vrezen, niet in staat te zijn, want de wil maakt hem er ook toe in staat.

Het werkzaam zijn van God door een zich aan Hem wijdend mens zal duidelijk zichtbaar worden, maar nooit zal een mens iets buitengewoons tot stand kunnen brengen, die God zijn wil onthoudt. Nooit zal een mens, die er zich niet vrijwillig voor aanbiedt, gedwongen worden om te strijden voor God en tegen de wereld.

Maar die de wil hebben om de goddelijke wil te vervullen, die zich dus aan God onderwerpen en zich aan Hem als werktuig aanbieden, die zullen door Zijn kracht en genade gegrepen worden, als ze aan hun missie zullen beginnen. Als ze voor God opkomen voor de wereld. Ze zullen niet meer aan twijfel onderhevig zijn over wat ze moeten doen of spreken. Ze zullen vanuit zichzelf handelen en met het gevoel om zo en niet anders te moeten handelen. Ze zullen niet angstig of kleinmoedig zijn. Ze zullen zonder tegenwerken de innerlijke stem, die hen leidt en bestuurt en hen het denken ingeeft, wat juist is voor God, volgen. De vrijwillige overgave aan God verzekert hun de genade van God en de genade van God betekent hulp in alle dingen, op alle wegen en te allen tijde.

En daarom kan de mens zich in vol geloof aan zijn Heer en Heiland, Zijn Schepper en Vader overgeven, zodra hij zich eenmaal aan Hem ten dienste aangeboden heeft. Hij zal gegrepen worden, als het moment van het werkzaam zijn voor hem gekomen is. Hij zal vervuld worden met goddelijke kracht en vol zijn van liefde voor Hem. Hij zal zich niet meer bedenken of besluiteloos zijn, maar helder en duidelijk ligt zijn levensweg voor hem. Hij zal deze weg bewandelen, gedreven door de geest van God en voert nu de missie uit, zoals het de wil van God is.

Mission.... execute with divine power....

Every mission for God first of all requires a willingness, for it is usually a task which requires the person to overcome himself, which can therefore only be carried out if the person is aware of this requirement and yet has the will to do so. Carrying out a mission for God will always mean a battle with the world and therefore requires courage and determination, which a person musters if he loves God, i.e. wants to serve Him. But only a few people consciously want to serve Him, because only a few people renounce the world and the battle with the world becomes easier for them as a result. As long as the human being allows himself to be taken captive by the world, he is unable to fight it, i.e. only those who despise the world do not find the battle so difficult because they gladly renounce what the world takes from them in this battle. But man's will to serve God and thus to take on the mission is richly rewarded by God insofar as he is given strength to fight against the world. And therefore he need not fear being incapable, for the will also makes him capable. God's working through a person who devotes himself to Him will obviously manifest itself, yet a person who withholds his will from God will never be able to achieve anything extraordinary. No human being will ever be compelled to fight for God and against the world who does not voluntarily offer himself to do so. But those who have the will to fulfil the divine will, who therefore submit themselves to God and offer themselves to Him as an instrument, will be seized by His strength and grace if they are to start their mission, if they are to stand up for God before the world. They will no longer be in doubt as to what they should do or say, they will act out of themselves and with the feeling that they must act in this way and no other. They will not be fearful or faint-hearted, they will follow without reluctance the inner voice that guides and directs them and prompts them to think what is right before God. Voluntary devotion to God assures them of God's grace, and God's grace is help in all things, in all ways and at all times. And that is why a person can surrender himself in full faith to his lord and saviour, his creator and father, once he has offered himself to Him for service.... He will be seized when the hour of work has come for him, he will be filled with divine strength and be full of love for Him, he will no longer ponder or be indecisive, but his path of life lies clearly and distinctly before him; he walks it, driven by the spirit of God, and now carries out the mission as it is God's will....
